News Gigabyte/ASUS/GALAX RTX 4060 Low Profile

Gigabyte is creating an RTX 4060 low-profile card: https://www.tomshardware.com/news/g...-be-the-first-low-profile-ada-lovelace-design

3 fans, single 8-pin, 2 slots.

Pie in the sky, but would love to see an RTX 4060ti (or more crazy RTX 4070) model at some point.

16/01/2023 Addendum

ASUS now has a 4060 Low Profile card.
188mm, triple fan.

Galax has a card
182mm, triple fan, but the PCIE cable is at the front which will affect clearance without a custom solution.
Will advise to look for something slightly bigger

So far, not the best outlook for those of us in the states,

Looks like box shot on this retailer from South Africa,
Still seems like stock photography, not an actual product photo.

I have also seen product pages from 2 separate Canadian outfits

Nothing from the states, and no availability timeframe so far

Canada is very promising though! How often does a product like this sell in Canada but not the US? And South Africa also doesn't strike me like a market that gets "exclusive" access to certain parts (unlike Japan, Taiwan etc).

... I imagine someone with some brains must have pushed this product internally.

Gigabyte as a whole seems to have different priorities... 4 out of 5 Models available here in Germany are triple fan. 1x 270mm, 2x 280mm and one even triple slot with 300mm length... 🤡

So, probably it will be available worldwide then? I saw these two sellers from New Zealand listed it;

The price is only $287.62 on that first site you listed. Looks to be available in Canada and South Africa so far

I don’t think the OEM’s have realised how much demand there is for low profile cards. The A2000 has certain brought them back to the forefront.

You are my personal hero! 💁‍♂️ Ordered.

I am really eyeing this card and would love to see a review about it before a purchase. The performance or a 4060 is plenty for me, I'm mostly interested in this model as if it works reliably, there's no reason to go bigger. But I need reliable feedback about temps and noise:) Wonder if it will be available within the EU as well eventually.

I've ordered it just for testing purposes, as my review of the RTX 4000 SFF with HDPLEX Gan 250W PSU will go online soon. The comparison (especially with the price in mind) will be really interesting! If you are iterested in the card after my review, I can offer you the PSU, HT5 Case and GPU in a great bundle after my review. 😇
Kind regards

*By the way...I am from Germany (EU)

Yep - confirmed on Gigabyte product page as well.
I've placed a pre-order for one. :)

I just received my 500W HDPlex GaN too of course, which will be MASSIVE overkill for 5600G/RTX4060 but what the hey.
what case are you going to use for 500W GaN? I got the 250W model and even that should be enough for 5700X and this gpu.

Currently in my RCC-SMALL1 but I fear the 500W is actually too large to allow for the 4060 and it's definitely well overpowered.

Debating swapping back to the G-Unique for this, and using the GaN500 in something else with a larger GPU.
