I think axp90 x47 copper can handle the 9800x3D with AI overclock and if you turn on Turbo mode, even cooler, without decreasing TDP. Currently using it. Altough I hace my PC opened without cover. Maybe it is more noisy and not so cooler if you close it but still, I think it if you can handle noise if better perfomance for the cpu.
If you use it for rendering it might be different but otherwise…
In fact there are, at least, 2 factors to differentiate.

CPU cooling : stand alone
In fact, AXP90X47 copper is performing in a similar way as the IS-47-XT, even if the AXP90-47 Cu is slightly better (but no a game changer). However, none of them is able to handle the R7 9800X3D at full load (IBT2.54 or Cinebench) even with -30 Curve optimiser/shaper. They are both reaching stock thermal throttle at 95°C of the CPU. Here is a table with the results I got while stressing the CPU alone, with variable TDP

CPU cooling : Gaming with GPU thezrmal interference
Even with the RTX 4080 Founder's Edition, there is some hot exhaust air from the GPU interfering with the cooling on the CPU. Fan duct (Noctua NA-FD1) + combined with quieter fan (Noctua 92 slim 2200rpm version) I have installed is helping on this specific point, more than I hoped.
Basically with Noctua Chromax 92 slim 2500rpm I was able to reach 95W TDP (CPU stand alone, max fan speed, very noisy) but only 75W TDP with gaming load with tolerable noise.
With the Noctua 92 slim 2200rpm + Fan Duct, I was able to reach, barely, 95W TDP, but while gaming, I'm able to reach 88W TDP with gaming load with tolerable noise.
Overall my second setup (Noctua 92 slim 2200rpm + Fan Duct) is the worst absolute performer but the best in real life..:D

I will also try using AMD PBO to fix the temperature limit, but leave power PPT by default.

Not quite, that's the Fractal Design Node 202 style layout. Been around for almost 10 years.
Inspired from Node 202 but only 7L vs 10L (Node 202). It is similar from P-ATX to U-ITX.
However, it seems to be limited only to 2 slots GPU, unlike U-ITX, with 3 slots compatibility.

"Inspired from Node 202 but only 7L" yeah, this too has been done here https://zaber.com.pl/sentry/ in 2019.

Not to throw shade at U-ITX, just saying that it's a different layout.

Anyone figured out if a 9070xt card will fit?
There should be some models that fit yeah.
Yes I searched for versions here is a first list (not exhaustive!) of RX 9070 XT of compatibility with the U-ITX :

RX 9070XTDimensionsU-ITX
(306 x138 x 60 mm)
Asus RX 9070 XT Prime312 x 130 x 50 mmNo
Asus RX 9070 XT TUF330 x 140 x 62.5 mmNo
Asrock RX 9070 XT Taichi330 x 140 x 61mmNo
Asrock RX 9070 XT Steel Legend Dark298 x 131 x 58 mmYes
Sapphire RX 9070 XT Nitro +330.8 x 128.5 x 65.68 mmNo
Sapphire RX 9070 XT Pulse320 x 120.25 x 61.6 mmNo
Gigabyte RX 9070 XT Gaming288 x 132 x 56 mmYes
Gigabyte RX 9070 XT Elite339 x 136 x 59 mmNo
Powercolor RX 9070 XT Red Devil340 x 132 x 69 mmNo
Powercolor RX 9070 XT Reaper289 x 111 x 41 mmYes
Powercolor RX 9070 XT Hellhound327 x 128 x 49 mmNo

I have checked RX 9070 XT from Asrock, Asus (a shame RX 9070 XT prime is a bit too long), Sapphire & Gigabyte.
MSI didn't announce yet anything.

Also some powercolor models, thanks for the list :)

And some will fit with the offset mask, ones that are 306-326mm long and not wider than 62mm.
Good point, about this offset of +20mm, how does it look? There is a clear gap with the front panel? Do we need specific new side panels?
I've updated the list with powercolor.

XFX is also doing some RX 9070 XT, but they are all 3.5 slots but no details on final dimensions.

I think there where some standoffs in the package but I’m not sure if they are used for a 2 slot card and you have to buy some if you also want to use them for the front panel. They come with the case and, as far I understood, you can „offset“ or widen the gap from the frontpanel. This leaves a little gap, 2cm or longer if you need more, but you can fit longer gpu. It’s up to you if this will be something you want or you want to retain the compactness of the case.

Edit: I found the xfx cards but not that they are too wide they are also too long 350mm+.

Yes they are the same standoffs used to offset the 2slot gpu but you will probably never use them at the same time, as I doubt there are any true 2slot gpus longer than 306mm that people still use.

It just offsets the front mask, everything else stays the same. It might not be the best solution aesthetically, but it will probably better than nothing for some users :)

Thanks!

Then it is as I udnerstood from the manual. Not the most aesthetic but could be convenient, for example to fit a RX 9070 XT prime with 5/10mm front offset..:)
In that way, it is also possible to add 4-5cm to fit long 3 slots cards...but I have big doubts on the final look...😎

Well in Germany the launch was a complete shit show. Bots bought every stock immediately and now they are reselling them on eBay für 1200€. I’ll stick to my 1070 longer than I thought but I’m. Or going to spend this insane money on a GPU.

In France it was a little bit better there were some overpriced model available at launch (like 880 for the 9070 xt) but getting the msrp ones was impossible.
It is still possible to get it for some models around 880

I decided to buy the regular 9070 since I was able to purchase it at msrp 630 euros it was available for around 2 hours before getting out of stock I think it is decent value and I didn't have to overpay

Actually it was the same here but I can’t get myself to pay that much for a GPU…

I found a decent one at a smaller retailer

Then only deliver in France and belgium unfortunatly
They also have a good msrp 9070

There might be a few other left on the web

Edit:
Nevermind you can't actualy buy them they just say that they will have stock soon

A pity, in France, it was clearly possible to buy at 3pm...a nice change compared to Nvidia RTX50.
However I'm surprised (pleasant & angry) that RX 9070 are sold out everywhere now...:(
