Does seem that way, surprised how quickly they went, was only 2 left when I ordered
if i recall correctly there isn't really a performance difference between gen 3 and 4 just have to make sure to change the pice setting in bios to gen 3 when using gen 4 components,
I ordered anyway, figured if theres any issues I'll just get a gen 4 riser later

There is no official mounting method, just potential space for it, that is why it is not officially supported. I would try with a tape or a 3d printed bracket, maybe I try to design one and share it.

Thanks! Just a question, do you have a 165-170mm long riser with a very short female PCB? This case will only work with such risers, that is why I only offered options with risers included.

Yes of course, all pcie gens are backwards compatible.

Only Like 1-3fps but it will be a challenge when you update the bios or assemble the hardware for the first time. Then the card has to be plugged directly into the mb slot if it’s a gen3 riser that you’re using. With a gen4 riser you can leave it all assembled. That’s the only thing that speaks for a gen4 riser

Ah, I see. I was thinking I could get away with using one of the louqe risers I have but if that's not the case, then I'll deal with being at gen 3
