@REVOCCASES have you tried running linux on it ? does it also require a custom driver ?
So I can confirm this method works for me.A trick could make the latest Nvidia game-ready driver work on this modded graphic card with mobile GPU chips without 3rd party software.
1: Download the latest driver on Nvidia's website
2: Extract it using 7zip or other unzip tools
3: Get to the device manager, right-click on the GPU device with an exclaimation mark, and select update driver
4: Select the correct inf in the unzip files and try to install the 1660ti max Q driver, if nothing goes wrong the driver should be able to recognize the GPU and the exclamation mark in the device manager should be gone
5: Double-click the driver you downloaded in step 1 and perform normal installation again. If not the DLSS function will be bugged and unable to turn on in the game.
Hey bud @REVOCCASES , can you let me know what device id and inf file you chose in NVCleanstall to build your driver ? I've spent a good 3 hours last night trying multiple id's and can't find the right one. The only thing I managed to do is use the trick to install the card using 1660 ti max-q driver, and that seems to work. I've got the 4070m with device id: 2860.I haven't tried Linux, only Win10/11

P.S. What's interesting about the card is it works out of the box in Linux (Batocera). No custom drivers required there.
@REVOCCASES Yeah I followed that and it didn't work for me.See Post 24
You can also try the drivers from MORE FINE

I ordered a 3050M via Superbuy. On the customs declaration, it was classified as 8471604000, which is under the section "SECTION 16: MACHINERY AND MECHANICAL APPLIANCES; ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT; PARTS THEREOF; SOUND RECORDERS AND REPRODUCERS, TELEVISION IMAGE AND SOUND RECORDERS AND REPRODUCERS, AND PARTS AND ACCESSORIES OF SUCH ARTICLES"An odd request since I am fighting with superbuy. Has anyone purchased this video card through superbuy? If so, was the item shipped as an "appliance"? And last part, if it wasn't shipped as an appliance, can you provide your tracking number so I can prove to superbuy that they messed up.
Long story is that I ordered this and they shipped it as an appliance. It never made it to me but they are saying since it's an appliance then it doesn't qualify for a refund.

Shipping method used was SF Air Mail (Small).
The associated tracking number shows successful delivery, which was indeed the case for me.
If your card was lost in transit, that seems like something you should take up with the shipping company.
Sounds like a scam. I think I'd be claiming a charge back from my credit card company.Yeah I submitted a lost package with USPS 2 months ago, but they never found it. Guess this will be a $300 loss. Odd that all of my CPUs were shipped with a much better shipping method and not marked as an appliance.

Umm, did you mean to quote someone else? I didnt buy one of these GPUs.I hate to ask you both, but would it be possible for you to provide your tracking information or parcel information? Both of those are different than my customs declaration. Thanks so much. I would be nice to get a refund and maybe buy another.
Sure, this was my tracking number: SLX400107354CNI hate to ask you both, but would it be possible for you to provide your tracking information or parcel information? Both of those are different than my customs declaration. Thanks so much. I would be nice to get a refund and maybe buy another.

yes I did try that it did nothing for my model everything besides DirectX does work and everything directx does get a driver panic and subsequent crash (I used Frankendrivers so far)Did you try "add hardware support" using NvCleanstall? https://www.techpowerup.com/download/techpowerup-nvcleanstall/
