I find myself wishing Skylake-E was imminent. It's the platform this case deserves. :D

Yes indeed. Even though I'd probably just transplant my current mITX setup in there until I feel the need to upgrade.
Skylake-E is for 2016, is it not ?

It's a bit murky on the next HEDT CPU. Some leaked slides show Broadwell-E next and others show Skylake-E. Either way, I don't believe there will be anything until mid 2016.

I personally don't expect Skylake-E until 2017, regardless of if Broadwell-E shows up.

Finished aluminum handles rest atop an engineering schematic of their design.

Updates are coming but I can't say when. Hopefully within a week or two but no promises.
Looking forward to the Nova case :)

After months of planning my first PC build i grew weary of not being able to find a case like nova.. almost to the point a week ago i was ready to just give up & Buy a Brix!... Thanks a bunch:thumb:;)

It's always nice to hear other people frustrated with the status quo of mATX cases. And welcome to the forum!

This is the case I have been waiting for forever! Can't wait to get my hands on it :-)
Are you still planning for a 2015 launch?

The plan is still to launch this year but it's already almost September so delivery of the cases could roll over into next year.

Delivery date is not important, I just want a website with a button that says "Order <PLACEHOLDER> Now !" and deduct a wad of money from my credit card.

If there's a lesson we've learned, it's that time estimates for manufacturing hardly count as guidelines, let alone as reliable measures with respect how long things can actually take. Granted, we're a bit over our heads with everything since it's a first for us, but even with meticulous planning, delays and other complications found their way in. It seems inevitable in the realm of manufacturing, at our scale - even with a manufacturer that's done really well by us :p

At this point we're really quite close, in the scheme of things, to a tipping point where a lot starts happening very quickly. But we don't want to lead people on with comments that imply we'll open up sales (or ship units) sooner than what will actually transpire. So any dates or figures you hear from us will be conservative until they're absolutely bulletproof.

Anyway, here's today's illustrated update!

Solid Feet

Aluminum case feet, just cut by a lathe, await a final coating before installation.

Ohhhh feet!!! :D:D:D......I think i have a foot fetish :\

I'm curious how they'll turn out. We got one set in black powder coat, one in clear anodization, and the last in black anodization to compare.

The "Kimera Industeries: REDACTED" would actually be a pretty cool name

I just know we'd get a bunch of people asking why the name has been redacted though :p
