My goal is 3.9 ghz on the 1700 or 1700x (in hopes of a better bin) and 3200mhz with proper ram. Did the korean one manage 3200 ? and the graphs showd only 3.8
Also, newegg and other retailers are writing that ram performance will vary with cpu? Do they mean model or just luck of the draw, in which case would a 1700x since it is better binned than the 1700 offer a higher chance to reach stable higher ram clocks?
The only person that I've seen run 4000MHz on ryzen did it with a r5 1400 underclocked to 800MHz and one 8GB stick of ram on one of the 5 or 6 motherboards that have bclk. The memory controller in the cpu just can't handle it.The latest F2 bios is supposed to include AGESA 1.0.0.6 updates which allow for 4000MHz RAM support ... anyone find any tests / results for that ?
I'm not really disappointed.Well that's really disappointing ! This is the most annoying piece of the puzzle i can't figure out
