you should consider making a bigger version of the Velka case - 10 L to 13 L that supports a larger CPU cooler or 3 slot GPU.

Aren’t there plenty of cases like that out there already? No shortage of larger cases, I think the entire philosophy behind Velka is space efficiency with standard parts.

There's lots of cases in the 8L - 10 L zone, which would be Ghost, Dan, Thor, Sidearm

But there's not many good cases in the 10-13 L zone which would be Ncase M1, and the upcoming Dan C4.

A high quality version of Ncase alternative that is unibody anodized aluminum would blow up the SFF market.

And only two mainstream cases under 13L support 3 slot GPUs..Sliger SM 560 and Ncase.

T1 FormD supports 3 slot GPUs and is 9.5L

"Thickness of the 3090/3080 XC3 models with backplate (XC3 Ultra/XC3) is 1.78in. - 45.1mm.
Thickness of the 3090/3080 XC3 models without backplate (XC3 Black) is 1.61in. - 40.9mm."

So it sounds like the EVGA XC3 Black might fit the bill, but I can't find much info about it.

Found it: https://www.newegg.com/evga-geforce-rtx-3080-10g-p5-3881-kr/p/N82E16814487522

With regard to the Velka 7 maxing out at 43mm, I suppose the question is "in which direction"? Looks like here it's mostly the cooler protruding. @VELKASE Michael, assuming the 40.9mm measurement is correct, would this card fit?

Since it is advertised as 2.2 slot, it is probably closer to 44-45 mm thick. It only has a chance of fitting extremely snugly with the side panel offset, so it is definitely not a guaranteed fit.

If it is indeed 40.9mm, though, will it fit? I think the figures above were quoted from an EVGA rep on their official forums, so I expect them to be trustworthy. (Also, what does "side panel offset" mean?)

the cases have an experimental feature where they can offset the side panels by up to 4mm, so technically you can increase the size limit by 4mm
