Well 7900xt ref has standard height (111mm) so it should fit tightly (width wise since it is a 2.5 slot). Not sure for 7900xtx ref though, they don't provide that spec on official site and it is entered wrong on techpowerup. It looks like it could potentially fit tightly looking at the picture, but I cannot guarantee (it might be just a few mm to tall, unless your pcie port is in the first position, then it should fit ).

And the AXP-90 X53 cooler should work in that case with a Zen 4 GPU, right?

Yeah they list all three versions as compatible with am5 and they have good mbo compatibility.

Correct! I would just avoid asus am5 boards since they don't comply to atx specs and there will have some compatibility issues

I will defintely check this. right now I have a GB 570i and this one still drives me crazy as the am4 socket is in a upper position on the board.

What length would you recommend regarding the cable from the 4090 FE to the SF750 psu?
I already have a 20cm from Moddiy.

There shouldn't be a lot of slack, but it depends on where the power connector is on the gpu and psu. Imho somewhere between 15-20 should be ok

I would say x47, it is copper and you can fit a 25mm fan on it unlike with x53.
