Well to be honest, for RTX 3080, only FE is 2 slots but you need to check gpu length and airflow.I am limited to the previous evga XC / black sizes like 270-280mm with a Lian Li Q10WX . Looks like ASUS Dual , MSI Ventus or Zoltac ??
Anybody else spot some smaller cards below 282 mm ??
Same here with my SM550. With my panel mod on it (have a look at the link of my build log below), a gpu with 48mm thickness from bracket (not considering back plate) is fitting inside SM550, like my GTX 1080ti Gaming X, 51mm thick in total.Guys i m soo sorry if this is wrong topic but i need help... i m in search for 3080 model wich will fit my system...i would like again Asus Strix but i think new one dose not fit ?
This is my system now... sorry on my bad english.

The EVGA XC3 appears to be the best option for people with limited case space, at least so far. It's only 2.2 slots and not that long. It may not perform very well, but it's better than not having something that fits at all.Best hope I have for now are Evga XC3 and FE version but this later could kill PSU on mid term...but this needs to be check
Nope as this gpu is 2.7 slots. SM550, even with my small mod, is only compatible with up 2.5 slots gpu.Can this one fit in my case,it seems smaller then this 2080 strix i have?
Thanks for sharing this info of 2.2 slots of XC3.The EVGA XC3 appears to be the best option for people with limited case space, at least so far. It's only 2.2 slots and not that long. It may not perform very well, but it's better than not having something that fits at all.
This is gpu i have now in case and its 2.7 so i dont understand....Nope as this gpu is 2.7 slots. SM550, even with my small mod, is only compatible with up 2.5 slots gpu.

Let’s see reviews/tests...
If you have put a RTX 2080 strix (2,7 slots) inside your case that simply means you don't have a SM550, but a SM560...This is gpu i have now in case and its 2.7 so i dont understand....

OMG you are right it is 560!!If you have put a RTX 2080 strix (2,7 slots) inside your case that simply means you don't have a SM550, but a SM560...
In that case, you can almost choose whatever ampere GPU you want..

If this is true, we can still hope in a FULL single slot Watercooler 3090/3080!!Just a public service announcement: the 12-pin connector seems to be a Molex Micro-Fit, NOT the Molex Mini-Fit Jr that most connectors on a modern PC and PSU use.
So be mindful that the currently available 12-pin Molex connectors (and pins) at mod component shops are probably not the correct ones.
Hm, doesn't look like reference pcb, that's a shame.
Do we yet know what a 'reference' PCB for this gen is going to be? Even EK's waterblock page doesn't list any cards as reference yet, while the block page itself cautions that the FE cards are not reference either.
It doesn't look like a reference 3080 PCB but that is a 3070 which may have a totally different PCB layout. The reference 3080/3090 have the PCIe connectors somewhere like 200-220mm from the IO BracketJudging by the length and cutout for pcie power connectors on that waterblock, they should be in the middle of the card, but XC3 has them at the end.

Well, EKWB has said their waterblock is 230mm long, so if you look where the vector notch is (which is also removable) thats where it puts the power plugs. Two 8-pins is like 3cm wide? So it's probably in the neighborhood of a 220-ish long card.I really hope that's the case.
