Both right brand, but @Solo is close enough. It's a Toyota Vista, which spawned out of the Camry series. I just find them amusing as the front resembles the 8th gen Mitsubishi Lancer

The headlights look alike to those from the first gen (XE1) Lexus IS as well

Ok so we know it's probably a kiwi locally delivered vehicle... hatchback... early-mid 2000s?
Looks kinda like a Fiesta to me, except those have a large grille at the front, and headlight cluster is a bit wrong.

It's not a Yaris/Echo/Vitz, Passo, Ist, Swift, Jazz/Fit, Tiida, Leaf, Mazda2/Demio, Mazda3/Axela, Focus, Mondeo...
