The shape sings of Jaguar but the double grille is far too BMW-esque... 1930-40s 327/328 ?
Only brands I can find close are maybe Austin, Morris, Sunbeam, Rover... but none really seem to have any recent resparks.. a few others like MG live on in other guises and definitely don't look right.Wow, some activity!
Brand no longer exists, but went under (for the last time) in 2020.
Car has a BMW engine and chassis, if that helps any.
found it bristol 401 but if @SFFMunkee didn't do all prework i would have never gotten it so passing it on to himWow, some activity!

Only one I can think of with dual front axles is the Thunderbolt...?

yes spot onDoesn't have the side wing though - so maybe it's the equally bonkers-ass Mercedes Benz T80 from around the same era

::EDIT:: "This would also be the first attempt at the absolute land speed record on German soil, Hitler envisioned the T80 as another propaganda triumph of German technological superiority to be witnessed by all the world, courtesy of German television."
also love that you can have a sneak peak of the Mercedes-Benz W125 Rekordwagen in the backDoesn't have the side wing though - so maybe it's the equally bonkers-ass Mercedes Benz T80 from around the same era
