About to purchase a Cerberus-X, and wanted to confirm- is there anyway to mount 3.5 drives without purchasing the brackets separately? If yes, how many can be mounted?
The specs page mentions mounting points for 2x 2.5" drives on the base chassis.
There is no mention of mounting points for 3.5" drives so I presume you need the optional bracket.
The vent system and hinged side bracket provide a lot of options for mounting locations so the number you can mount mostly depends on what you're packing in and how you're configuring.
Since this chassis doesn't waste space with cavities dedicated to cable management it will obviously benefit enormously from custom cables of exact length.
Does anyone have favorite vendors for custom cables (or kits) they care to share?

If you're methodical about it, you can hide full length cables with ease.

Honest number. Noctua c14s with dual 140mm seems more powerful...but with my dual ppc fan @2000, sure it was much louder. (More expensive too)

Awesome thanks. I'm wondering if the ncase bottom filter would fit the Cerberus. It has cutouts where the feet are.
So I took a chance and ordered the Ncase bottom filter. If it fits I will mention it here so noone else has to take a chance. I know I could have just measured and had them custom make one but I ordered from Amazon so it would get here faster.

Very good filter, well suited for bottom of cerberus.
They are also cheaper than demciflex.
Woof. You'd think at least one 3.5 bracket/cage would be thrown in, seeing as it is a premium ATX size case, whereas smaller premium ITX cases have brackets by default. Oh well, what's another 50 dollars at this point.
