Personally a huge fan of the Vega 64. However it really needs tweaking for maximum efficiency.

If you have a Vega 64 budget and power and ease of use are a concern —- 1070ti or 1080.

The Corsair SF450 can push those and a decent CPU.

The "PICKFAST" ebay code today allowed me to get a new Gigabyte 2070 for $450 so I pulled the trigger on that.

I've been lurking around this thread since 2 years ago and I think it's time to buy one!

Also, any possibilities of a bare aluminum finish like the machone?

lol as far as i remember they mentionned once this idea and in fact, in you don't apply paint, it was corroding..;)
But I must admit that aluminium gray is a nice color..remind me 80s..:D

I also remember a full chrome version...look gorgeous and very reflective (and expensive also)

@KSliger any new upcoming color for Cerberus?

No new colors, but if you want your panels unpainted you can message us to have that arranged.

For people that went with an ATX PSU and an AIO in the Cerberus X, which AIO did you manage to fit? I was looking at the Kraken X62 since it advertises a waterblock height of 48mm and the Cerberus X states 48mm of clearance with an ATX PSU.

I currently plan to use the Seasonic Focus SGX-650 and do air cooling, but I bought a 2080 Ti today that was bundled with an ATX PSU and may use that if I can't sell it.

Just avoid the AIOs where the tube sticks straight out the top of the pump/CPU block.

I just received my pump/res from bitspower. How do I combine the two? There’s no manual for it.

Edit: Figured it out. There were certain screws I needed to use. Black cap removed to maintain red/white theme.

I have the sgx-650 with a 2080ti and an evga 280 clc cooling my 9900k. If you are front mounting sfx psu, any 280 mm aio would work fine

@TheHig, your build looks like one I've been considering for some time now. With that in mind, how is the noise on your system under load? Also, did you notice an increase in noise with the windowed side panel?

@MarcParis Hmmm. I’m seeing them on mobile. Can check on the PC later.

@Theinnocent

Noise at load is pronounced with the window panel or the vented stock panel. The slim Noctuas I’m using are not unpleasant but the “woosh” is there. Overall the system is significantly less noisy since I was running a blower Vega 64 at 3000rpm while gaming. I’m ok with the Noctuas by comparison. Idle is dead silent which is a joy really.

For some reason a few image hosting sites, especially imgur have been having trouble loading here thelast couple of months. Usually a browser refresh button a couple of times will get them to load if they don’t the first time. At least in safari and chrome.

@TheHig I should be able to fit a pair of Noctua NFA12-25 fans in my system considering that I am using one x-flow radiator in the vertical mount and a standard u-flow on the bottom. Perhaps that would mitigate any potential noise issue.

Yeah you should be able to run lower rpms with those fans. I’m still messing with the fan curve so some improvements can be made.
