Ah nice, usually those cables are angled the other way but those are perfect.

That is correct.
That's great, but it's a (very good) surprise for me whereas I've read description and watched hardcanucks video..:) for me only feet and handle were supposed to be in aluminium.
I see marketing improvment here, as people love aluminium..:)

The Cerberus prototype does have steel panels, so the HardwareCanucks video is correct in that regard. We'll be updating the website once we're ready for general production, Joshua has quite a bit of things going on so I'm not going to bug him about it right now :p

Long time lurker here. Just popped in to say thanks for keeping up the fight even though the crowdfunding didn't pull through. Initially was thinking about the cerberus but I'm really excited about the cerberus-x and hoping you all have a bit smoother sailing from here on out.

Hello James... While researching a new case I ran into the cerberus project and I am interested in the white basic model (ATX cpu). My next choice is the "Nanoxia Deep Silence 4" (a very similar case) however they're currently out of stock as of this writing. My understanding is that the cerberus project was cancelled last year, however the kickstart page mentions that people can still order one for $250. Could you please confirm or point me to a page that has current information about how to go about getting one?

Best regards

The cases are not currently available. We are still working on getting a production run going but we do not have an ETA.

Also I would like to point out that the Nanoxia Deep Silence 4 is nearly twice the size of Cerberus.

Cerberus (micro ATX) is 18.2l
Cerberus-X (ATX) is 21.9l
Define Nano S (mini ITX) is 26.8l
Nanoxia Deep Silence (micro ATX) 4 is 36.5l

..:) what I love the most is this damn good Cerberus-X..ATX motherboard with case size on mini ITX..:D

For the guys planning builds with this case, are you planning on using custom cables or the ones included with psu and mobo?

I'm currently digging on the cooling setup on the Cerberus-X.

Let's share what I've already studied :
  • First, to improve cooling and ease cable management, I will rely 100% on M.2 storage. Minimum requirement is to have 1 M.2 pci-e 3.0 4x for ultra fast application with an additional m.2 sata/slower pci-e version for storage. This point is important as all infinite vents will be used for cooling..:)
  • CPU cooler + PSU choices :
    1. Noctua NH-C14S (dual intake fan) + front SFX/SFX-L psu : this is my default setup as NH-C14S with dual fan is performing really well (close to NH-D15 level), and will also cool all CPU area (VRM, RAM). With this setup, it's also leaving maximum clearance for GPU length (329mm), allowing to choose best/quiet GPU (I will test first if my gaming X GTX 1070 fit in width..:))
    2. Dual 240mm on front infinite vents + side SFX/SFX-L/ATX psu : Main issue on this setup is GPU clearance due to AIO on the front, leaving something like 274mm clearance. GPU choice will sum up only to reference model that are far being the best
  • Bottom cooling : dual Noctua NF-A14 ppc fan as intake to cool GPU mainly. It's damn effective and quiet..:)
  • Front and rear cooling : well I'm not going to place any fan on front or rear. I don't think they are useful..:D

What do you think?

Just trying to plan ahead, hopefully these go public soon. Reason I was asking is if anyone knew where you could get custom sata data cables? I've seen a couple of psu custom order sites but not sata. In my head I'd think I'd like a couple sata ssd's stuffed somewhere.

Custom length sata data cables but sleeping would be nice too. And that site is kind of what I was searching for but was hoping to find a true custom order site for ex: order a 7", 7 and 3/4", and a 9". Just numbers I pulled off my head

Custom cables aren't necessary for SFX PSUs that come with short cables, like the SilverStone's. I would highly recommend custom-length cables for an ATX PSU though.

Custom length SATA cables aren't a thing, but if they're reasonably short and flexible like these then it's not that big of an issue unless the build is just really packed: https://www.akasa.co.uk/update.php?...ables&type_sub=SATA Cables&model=AK-CBSA05-BK
