After building my first custom mini PC, I have had the idea of a Watercooled PC?. A sub-7L SFF case that can accept standard mini ITX components and watercooling components. My finished Design ended up to be 7,26L in volume?. My Choice of the radiator is a dual 92mm alphacool unit. my goal was to achieve silent operation while maintaining better temps than Air cooling and even with a little bit of overclocking.

Goals for the build:
  • mini itx components (no thin mini itx or mini stx) ✔
  • watercooling components such as radiator, waterblocks, fittings, etc... ✔
  • Highly Customizable exterior color and materials ✔
  • more or less cheap
Dimensions: 292mm x 239mm x 104mm (7,26L)

Material: Aluminum, acrylic glass

GPU support: 210-220mm length

PSU: Flex-ATX PSU

Storage: M.2 SSD (as many as your board supports), 1x 2.5" SSD

RAM: Standard Height RAM up to 44mm in height (Gskill trident Z)

Cooling: Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 dual 92mm radiator, Alphacool Eisbär LT (solo), 2x 92mm Fans

I don't know how to put photos or pictures in this post.?

Best GPU you could do is the zotac 2070s. Do you think the rad could handle it + your CPU?

For example, the EK Coolstream SE 240 (slim) has a cooling power of 203w.

Dimensions: 280 x 120 x 28mm (L x W x H) = 940800mm³ = 0,94dm³ ------> 203W
Alphacool Dual 92mm Radiator Dimensions: 229 x 92 x 45mm (L x W x H) = 948060mm³ = 0.95dm³ -----> 204-210W

the Alphacool Radiator has the same cooling power as the EK Coolstream SE 240mm Radiator.

the Zotac RTX 2070 super mini has a TDP of 215W, that would be scarce. I think An RTX 2060 super with 175W TDP would be cooled better.
But I´ve seen some builds with a 9900k and RTX 2080 both liquid-cooled by one 240mm Radiator and the temps were pretty good. <65°-70°C on full load.

(I don't know if those calculations are right)

I am cooling a RTX 2070 and delidded 8700k with a single 240mm radiator in my Ghost S1 and cools very well. I can hit 75C during Prime95 but gaming temps are 50-55C with peaks in the low 60C, GPU max is 52C.

do you think this is real?
would be the perfect GPU for my needs.

Is there a waterblock available for the Sapphire pulse Vega 56 (nano) GPU?
I just bought one (used for 190€) and i want to cool it with water.

That is an expensive PSU. Did you already buy it? The enp-7660b is the most popular flex PSU. Quiet and powerful. If you didn't, and don't necessarily need modular. https://www.sfftec.com/product-page/enhance-600w-flex-atx

@SFFTEC has one that is painted black (if that matters to you at all), but it's also relatively affordable, Shipping times aren't the best(some people have commented about it on Reddit) but it's coming from a community member here who, I believe, also did the z-case p-50, or helped out with it I think. https://smallformfactor.net/forum/t...lex-atx-silent-and-powerful-custom-psu.11896/

May be worth looking into, if you don't need modular. :)

I believe you can get other modular ones cheaper too, but geeek has the most customizable options that are readily available (or at least quickly available... Compared to AliExpress or taobao)
