Today I upgraded the VMware ESXi 5.5 on my Intel NUC to ESXi 6.7, via an upgrade to 6.0 first as there is no supported way of upgrading straight. The upgrade failed from 6.0 to 6.7 as it did not detect any free space on the OS USB drive after updating to 6.0, even though no issue was found in the partition data. who knows a lot about *nix, I decided to chose a different method of installation, via the CLI.
After punching in the command in PuTTY from
this guide, I was greeted with... nothing. After about 10 minutes of
cursor blinken, it choose to fill my screen with text, with the small line at the top saying everything went just fine:
And then I foam-washed my car, because it was
very grimey. Foam-wash is very fun to do, probably because it's a much more visible what you're doing than cleaning it with the traditional method.
