This is fun to look at. I recently dived into Velka 5 V1.1 and 7 builds and am keen to buy a case once the revision comes out with the V4.0 riser. Interested to see your progress with this!

Will there actually be any benefit to this rather than running on air?

Running it on air with cpu and gpu both running full power can get pretty noisy. Will post temp and rpm results when finished with build.

What would be the required gpu thickness to pull this off? I am seriously considering copying your build.

There is around 62mm of space on the gpu size. But you have to take space for fans into consideration so you do the math :)

Have run some benchmarks and here are the results.

Cinebech R20 + Furmark

CPU 11400
120W - 70C

GPU 3060 Ti
200W - 56C

So total 320W water temp 45C with fans running 100% 1850 rpm.
While gaming i run the fans slower and i am really happy with the noise, its very silent.

amazing build, question.. why watercool an 11400? why not go full on to an 11600/k? you have the cooling and the PSU for it. ;) it just seems like the 3060ti is a PEAK card, nearly a 3070, but the CPU isnt quite on it's level?

Thanks. Don't feel like I need a faster cpu when game at higher resolutions, the gpu is bottleneck anyways.

@FiftyFifty can you please give a bit of inside on the TX240 sanding process?
I don't have many tools, like sander, so I want to get an idea if I can do this with whatever I have.

I just used a dremel on the side you can see in the picture. The other side is untouched.
