It's less than a week left for 3060 Ti release date, guys. I really hope there will be an ITX version of this GPU to fit in my K39v2. It is rumored to perform at RXT 2080 Super level.
The problem is that most sources indicate that it will be a 200W card *facepalm* and most likely not 180W. It will also be based on a same GPU die as 3070 (GA104 ) but will be only partially unlocked... just like RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 cards which are based on same GPU die as well (GA102) and they are rated at 350W for RTX 3090 and 320W for RTX 3080 (which is 10% less than 3090).
RTX 3060 Ti will be based on same GPU die as GTX 3070 - which is rated for 220W so... If we take same formula as we took for 3090+3090 cards we get (220W minus 10% = 200W ) that is why I'm thinking that 3060 Ti will have 200W and it will be the reason for NOT making ITX variant of it *sob*
Just food for thought. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong and I really hope I am!!! Otherwise we will have to wait for RTX 3060 non Ti version which will be based on even smaller new GPU die that will definitely be 180W or less.
to sum up:
RTX 3090 = GA102-300-A1 = 350W
RTX 3080 = GA102-200-KD-A1 = 320W
RTX 3070 = GA104-300-A1 = 220W
RTX 3060 Ti = GA104-200-A1 = 200W (most likely) or MAY BE 180W (math says 200W, my heart says 180W )
RTX 3060 = GA106-300-A1 = 180W (rumored)
RTX 3050 Ti = GA106-200-A1 = 180W (rumored)
