Wow... That is expensive to say the least... Is there a size in between a 1U and 2U? This was the riser card I was looking at...

From Deutschland, but faster shipping than from China (arguably, depending on where you are)
(EDIT: Given that you're from Maryland, you will have better times with shipping)

Do you need it to be functional for benchmarks or just to test fit? If it is the latter, this may work:

This is super janky, but if you can figure out how to buy these, it might work: :p

Then clip this on top:

ARGHH if only we had something like the Taiwanese/Shenzhen electronics STREETS in the U.S...

If you just want to test fit them, I'd reckon just fashion them out of any flexible riser you have around (this is sff forum I'd wager most of us have one albeit in a build somewhere haha) and some cardboard or plywood to fix them somehow.

Edit: @el01 sheesh 15 bucks for 4x riser, for what's like, 5cm x 5cm pcb?

Of course ModDIY has one but are in the process of updating there system so they will not accept orders... The problem with flex risers for this application is that they will prevent the GPU from going back far enough to fit in the case and will not provide any support. In order for a full height GPU to work some small overlap of the GPU and Mainboard have to occur... That simply will not be possible with a flex riser sticking out of the PCIE slot. The riser has to be integrated into the mount going into the PCIE on the mainboard or be very short (<4cm) and have a 90 degree change in orientation.

I'm not suggesting using flex riser, merely to test out fitting while you wait for the shipping of the actual product. Get some plywood, cut to size, cutout holes for the 90deg slot, fix a flex riser to it with hot glue/zip ties/whatever.

Well the color scheme is not ideal but at least it’s prime delivery! Should work for mock up.

I personally think it looks good, especially given the fact that a PC that I frequently borrow from a friend has the same color scheme (Gigabyte Ultra Durable!). But yeah, it looks good enough. I'm surprised that so few U.S stores sell such items... :,(

At least it's better than nothing... Unless you're in a very niche server market, no one (except for us crazy people) buys one.

Well.... It fits!!! Almost like it was designed to fit itx components. Tight fit for sure but I think it will work. Now here is the change in plans..... I do not think I will continue with the idea of making a kit for sale but rather provide my patterns much like others who have attempted this. With the added weight of the components the case certainly became very flexible due to the lack of any support. So with this said, the new plan is to design a backplate and have it cut from 1-2mm steel and then bond it to the plastic base. That should provide support to the case and a ground plane for the Itx board, GPU, and Power supply. The meanwell PSU will not fit however... I did find an alternative PSU in a 2x4 form factor rated at 180 watts convection cooled that will fit. I might have to undervolt the 1060 in order to use it though. That is all I have for now, more to come!

I'd at least toy with mounting a 120mm fan to the top of the case in lieu of the CPU cooler fan and just have the bare cooler "floating" below the 120mm to take advantage of that opening. That or drill out the rest of the holes above the Noctua.

I am considering something along those lines.... Lots of wasted space with a single 90mm. I really do not want to try and drill out the since it will be quite obvious where the modifications were made. A slim 120mm might just work. For the GPU side I plan to replace the built in cooler fan with two thin 90mm fans with ventilation on the base. If I can, I am going to jump on my CNC at work and replicate the hole/vent pattern found on the top half so that it too will look factory.
