Concept Feedback for Mini-ITX stacking 2X Noctua D15's Coolers

I have a slim 120mm tower heatsink sitting in my closet that I haven't used in a couple years, I believe it is ~33mm. I can measure it tonight if you want me to.

Looking at this pic, typical fan thickness is 25mm, so maybe up to 35mm might fit snuggly just fine in that spot! I'd really appreciate it if you can help me measure the dragonfly4.

Looking at old benchmarks, it looks like the DF4 cooling performance is just slighly below the u12s, so that might be a decent compromise vs going with a larger overall design to use the C14s (design v2)

I would prefer to avoid the aio if I can too. But reviews says the NZXT x42 140mm AIO is quiet, but im not sure if that's true.

@NateDawg72 I measure the space between the nh-15 again and it looks like it could be ~40mm so maybe with a bit of pushing and bending, this might work:

It has a a 42mm thickness.

And from the review, it looks like it's very comparable to the nh-d15 in performance? that's incredible.

I like the OP's idea. Build a case like Mac Pro in sort of coke can style, you know?
