1000W but Platinum only, compare to the previous 'flagship' that was 800W Titanium

Semi passive mode until 200W

Flat cables for easier bending and cramping compare to sleeved

Well, that's the only downside. Sadly there are not many alternatives if you want to build sub 5L. I think I have tried every orientation there is the past months... :(
I'm firmly in the 8-12L bracket now so don't mind too much that this is SFX-L. 5L is just too restrictive in terms of what graphics card can be used so not my cup of tea.

I'm planning on a sub 4-5L, fully watercooled 3080 and 5950X. I wouldn't say it is that restrictive ;) It all depends on me finding a 600W+ Flex-ATX that is reliable though. Don't want to burn my components after trying to find a 3080 (and still looking) for months.

I like those new ZS cases that allow long GPUs but have the FlexATX mounted in the front. Seems to be a real nice layout.

Its a great PSU. easily the best in the form factor. I'm using two of them in two different builds and one has been powering my main 3950x/2080ti system since may with no issues or noise problems

I will patiently wait until the noise reviews are up. My Corsair 600 had too much noise, the Silverstone 700 sfxl-l makes too much noise in load (the up and down is a big, big difference, we'll see about this one.

I wish a fan transplant was easier on the 700, probably a better fan would've solved my problems.

That's the main reason I held back the loud fan noise reviews, some even when idle. I do want that SilverStone 1000w SX!

Please wait for SX1000. Early reports are showing same issues as SX750 with faulty fan control (basically fan is spinning at max speed from start).

To be investigated.
