Personnally I used Fractal design waterblock/pump but I found it too noisy, not enough powerful compared to my swiftech H220 or apogee drive 2..

and yes you have plenty of option..

Unfortunately Keystone is a little limited in that regard, but you can at least get miniDP and now even USB C, so plenty of options there.

What is that space in front of the mainboard for? Looks a little like 2.5" mounts but that would completely block the airflow.

Yes luke has used a customized 1u fsp 700w psu (painted and braided)..

Yes! I was planning on getting one. Also ... I have news from the grape vine that Fractal will be releasing their new AIO this quarter as the Kelvin's are EOL.

Yes Yes it is

Unfortunately Keystone is a little limited in that regard, but you can at least get miniDP and now even USB C, so plenty of options there.

I think it will allow for enough customisation to keep the front bezel modern enough until VR goes wireless, and then people can change that to a audio jack or USB-C.
I'm just thinking maybe I should have had 2 keystone + 2 usb instead of just 1 keystone and 4 usb.

That is for cable management (cable ties). In V1 i used 3M mounting points and cable ties to keep everything in place. Now the cable management holes are in place to further reduce the cable clutter
