ITX under my desk.....I tidy it all up, then just want to try a new fan or swap SSDs, or fit a different heatsink/ PSU/ pair of DDR4/ cooler/ CPU/ APU, and so it goes on....True entropy.
Anyhoo........Might as well have a pic of the E-W80 now with C7 fitted......... very efficient and very silent now the fan speeds have been tamed.

You've got a black (E-W80?) case as well. Mind if I ask which color you prefer?

The one at the back? Similar, but that is an E-Mini S-197 H80. Smaller then the EW80, as its title,197mmx197mm x80mm. Very nice case, 3.5 and 4mm ally, quality built. Like the EW80 it has a smaller 60mm version, but I prefer the 80mm ones because I get more leeway with cooling and SSD mounting.
As for colour.....not an issue while they are under my desk, but if on view it would depend on surroundings and associated kit.
At one point I had a billet built ally keyboard ( Enermax Aurora) and ally mouse, so the ally case would be the choice.......now with black KB and mouse, black monitor...black case.
My preferred build and colour would be quarter sawn oak and brass, but that is, as they say, another story.

Nice case. The vents on top would be quite useful for cooling the CPU.

I have used standoffs before to raise the lid when extra cooling was needed, but currently has an ASRock H97M-ITC-ac board with Pentium G3258, 2 x 4GB Hyper-X and a 250GB Samsung 850, with Pico PSU.
The CPU cooler is a hybrid I lashed up that works very well ( and silently) so fine without standoffs. This machine is actually just a backup, in case I have my usual machine apart for any reason I can still keep online with this

PS the pic of the case at the rear with I/O plate is not mine for anyone familiar with my MB who might recognise that this is not that board!

@Deeptek, cool build. I always liked the Metis. It's the case I wish existed when I bought the Prodigy because the aluminum finish looks nicer. Even tried to turn my Prodigy silver and buy aluminum panels but that mod didn't go far lol.

Here are some pics of my re-purposed Ncase M1.

Ncase M1 v5.0
Intel i3 8100 Coffee Lake
Asrock H370M-ITX/ac
2 x 4GB Crucial 2133 MHz DDR4
XFX RX 550 4GB
Corsair SF450
128GB Samsung SM951
2 x 2TB WD Blue
2 x 3TB WD Green
Gelid Slim Hero
2 x 120mm Noiseblocker Multiframe
92mm Noiseblocker BlackSilentPro

Makes a really nice HTPC/Plex server, going to need to upgrade my HDD for larger capacity soon.

Runs nice and cool. With a 20C ambient CPU idles at 30C and the HDDs are mid 20C. Ran Intel Burn Test and max temps on the CPU are 53C.

I won a contest.

While i was building the Halo 2 Anniversary map which eventually won the contest i joked to my GF that if i won i would build her a computer to replace her aging iMac. I never would have expected the map to win, but when it did i kept my word. First prize was $500 USD which, when deposited into my PayPal account, gave me $622 CDN to play with. Her needs were simple: the comp must run Photoshop and stream movies. She's not a gamer so a i5/i7+GPU would be overkill. The i3-8100 is similar in specs to last generation's i5 so i went with that.

The parts had to be sourced either locally, or from Canadian retailers who accepted PayPal. This left Newegg, Mike's, and Canada Computers (the others had crazy expensive delivery fees). I was able to find some decent deals in the 2-3 days of researching parts and my only disappointment was the cooler. I had my heart set on a Zalman CNPS8900 and found one for $20 USD at a US site. Once i accounted for the exchange, PayPal's ridiculous exchange fee, mailbox fee, duty, gas, and the 4$ fee to cross the border i figured it would end up in the $60 range and put me over budget. So picked the cheapest (non crap) cooler at Newegg and plan to upgrade at a later date, but only if required. I could not find a Chopin in Canada so i went with the next best offering.

PCPartPicker part list

CPU: Intel - Core i3-8100 3.6GHz Quad-Core Processor ($140.99)
CPU Cooler: Rosewill - RCX-Z775-LP CPU Cooler ($14.99)
Motherboard: ASRock - B360M-ITX/ac Mini ITX ($114.99)
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 ($94.99)
Storage: Kingston - A1000 240GB M.2 SSD ($81.99)
Storage: Western Digital - Scorpio Black 750GB 2.5" 7200RPM HDD ($0.00)
Case: Inwin - BQ656 (Black) Mini ITX Tower Case w/150W Power Supply ($113.99)
Total: $561.94

Please excuse the crappy looking electrical tape. I couldn't stand the idea of all those wires rubbing against the mesh screen and sharp edges of the inner case frame for years to come so i wrapped the first 4 inches in flame retardant electrical tape. I imagine there are MUCH better ways to accomplish this but it's going to be vesa mounted to the back of a 1440p monitor, never to be seen again. I loved the satisfying puzzle-like problem-solving exercise of figuring out the cable management in this fantastic little case.

and, some porn if you're into these sort of things

Very nice @NOKYARD. I have the i3-8100 in my HTPC and it is a great little CPU, probably the best deal to come out of Coffee Lake. You could definitely never buy an i5 for that price.

Yeah, i forgot to mention this will also be connected to the big screen as a HTPC. The included HDD is for our media server.

The In Win BQ656 = Chopin without the aluminum bezel. This makes it even smaller, IIRC.
