What are the screws on top for? They seem to be new.
I guess they're there for a reason, but IMO it looks nicer without them. Moving them to the sides is no option I guess?

They help clinch the case together tightly. When you have more IO and stuff in the rear, it easy for it to bend. It's a functional trade off.

Feature locked.

MOBO: Mini-DITX/Mini-ITX;
GPU: Up to 185 mm length, dual slot, low profile
Power entry: 12 mm 4 pin mini-din support, C6 power entry cutout
PSU: RPS-200 mounting

Fan: 2x 60 mm in GPU config

Final dimensions: 190 mm x 248 mm x 66 mm, 3.1L

UHP-200 feature dropped. Double checked the dimensions and the case needed to be 205 mm deep to accomodate it, which puts it too big at 3.45L.

Possible build Configurations:
1. SUPER APU: RPS-200, PLUGin-200X, Black Ridge 47mm cooler with 120mm slim fan, VLP RAM,
2. OLD SCHOOL MEDIA: RPS-200, PLUGin-160, Noctua L9, x16 PCIe to NVME adapter, 2X 2.5 HDD
3. LIGHT GAMING BOX: Mini-box 160XT Kit, Cryorig C7/L9, Li-HEAT short PCIe riser, LP GPU (GTX 1650, 1050 Ti)

Very nice, I like it!

Liking it so far.

Another use case could be a high-end headless compute box with a 3900X or possibly even a 3950X. Put in a temporary GPU while installing the OS, remove it once an IP address and remote login is enabled...

Loving this.

Was thinking the other day if I should build a small compile box with a high-performant (3950X) Ryzen, a low-profile cheap GPU and enough RAM, but small enough to fit on my work desk. The tower I have now is simply taking up a LOOOOOT of space.

Is the setup shown brickless, and does it support an mDTX form factor?

For the kickstarter campaign, I am thinking of three packages:

1. Case only, choice of vandal switch
2. GPU ready, includes 160W brick and dcdc unit
3. Internal psu ready, includes RPS-200 and 160w dcdc.

The other question is if there is any desire for a 120W max internal unit? It is $25 cheaper than 200w but I feel like it wouldn't be popular.

It does almost seem silly that the internal PSU package, which can support CPU only, comes with a more powerful PSU than the external package that must power twice as much.
Do you still offer a 120w plug in unit? Would the combination of 120w ACDC and 120w DCDC be more than $25 cheaper?

No 120w. Currently the combo for 160w internal is $100. A 120w will be around $75.

The external unit is likely the same is the internal 160(200w cooled) unit. The difference is that it's rated for 160w full passive. I have a 250w external with a 1070 + 2600X so it'll handle anything just fine I'm sure.

This new case is perfect for those like myself who want to utilize it as very small, a low power pfSense router build (that supports pcie network cards). My setup would consist of an i3-6100T (35w), Noctua NH-l9i, 120gb m.2 ssd, and a low profile pcie Intel i350 dual nic card. Personally, I would love the 120w option as I don't believe my use case would need anything more.

Looking forward to your kickstarter campaign, as I will definitely be supporting this project!

Excellent work on the Pure Mk2 case!

If your nic is just a board without heatsinks, you may be able to use an internal acdc, but I can't guarantee it.

External 120w bricks and lower quality Pluginunits can be had pretty cheaply.

Regardless I will only have 3 configurations to keep the amount of work streamlined.

Thank you for supporting! Hopefully the kickstarter will get funded.

Hey guys.

I made a survey to get some answers on preparing for this kickstarter. Please take it here:
