Hmm this one could be tricky, I know it was made by some company and sold to Mazda and we had them on the road as Mazda 121 iirc but I never knew the name of the original.

Ah yes, autozam that is correct, thanks for reminding me I also remember that there were some other mazda 121 rebrands, iirc they were fiestas and some others lol

Kinda looks like it is based on a Porsche 928 though.

Yup!

Amusingly, most are built in the UK. Some are sold in Japan, then end up here as used imports, so they've gone UK-> JP -> NZ
