Today I had an idea how to integrate the I/O at the front. It is just an idea what do you think?
I rather no IO than front IO. Front IO looks dated, side IO looks nice though.

side is much better, why can we have both options ??Here are some pictures so you can see how pluged in top i/o and side i/o will look like:
Alright @dondan , thanks for the clarification, things do make sense.
Actually, I was wondering if the (inevitable) size increase could possibly bring back some of the original ideas. As you may know, I've never been a huge fan of top I/O, if the flexible layout could mean the return of side I/O, it would also make many people happy I think. Wouldn't it be an acceptable compromize?
You know what? I gave up on asking for classic design, Dan clearly explained what does not work on that layout.
Anyhow, The size increase should theorically allow for some original features to comeback, namely Side I/O (including audio ports).
Also, I was wondering if a wider case would allow for the old case feet design to return (wider case should mean more stable, am I right?).
Please, let us know @dondan - A bigger case with the return of some original features, would be greatly appreciated.
As you can see, I asked many times about Side I/O but @dondan continues to ignore the questions.
Maybe with the recent size increase Side I/O can be viable. If you prefer I/O on the Side definitely let him hear your voice!
side I/O is a new approach and much more cleaner
my bad, it seems like I am the one who's missing a lotAm I missing something? This rendering is a very old one. If I am correct the current plans won't look anything like this. Also side i/o is out of question already.
Hi Dan, I am so happy to see this perfect case, many of us just want A4-SFX v3 + 240mm AIO =C4-SFX, try not to design so big, same as or smaller and beauti than NCASE M1 just ok,thanks@All:
Before I offer the poll about fan compatibility I made a list of compatible 240mm AiOs.
The case supports radiators with the following max specs:
295mm length
122,5mm width
height depends on fan configuration
AiOs that are based on Alphacool radiators will not fit because there are 124mm in width. Also some radiators with labels on the site will not fit.
From my own experience I regocment Asetek based AiOs, because they have support for every socket and if you reduce the pump RPM they are very quiet.

* Fractal Design Celsius S24 (284 x 122 x 31) = OK

(all Data are collected from the product specification pages, so there could be wrong values!)
Because we want the case to look good and a lot of us think that side I/O is the best looking option out of the three provided.I do not understand why you dig out the side i/o question?
For the side i/o question it is possible on the flexible design BUT....you will lose one 2.5" drive mounting space. So with side i/o you only can install one 2.5" drive instead of two.
