@Phuncz
I am so sorry. I hope that kink comes out soon.

Yesterday:
Went to Japan Festival 2016 that was hosted in Mississauga (sister city to Kariya, Aicha, Japan). I also started work on a microcontroller project.

Today:
Realized that my microcontroller project is a bust for now.

I've had torrents of obligations and things to do recently (some that I can't talk about, at least not yet). One thing I've been doing for a while, though, is diet and exercise, and I hit a bit of a milestone this week.

September of 2015, I weighed 231 pounds; by April I was at just over 200. Fast forward to today, and I've now had a full week where my body weight has been dancing between 171-170, but never over. That's sixty pounds lost, or ~26% of my peak weight.

Needless to say, I feel a lot better, though I now have a few trash bags of clothes ready to be donated, since they're all too large for me now :\

Good stuff! It sounds like you're doing a great job. I'm heading the opposite direction, spending all my free time working on case designs leaves no time for exercise!

But tonight I've made sure I went to the gym as a last minute attempt to burn some calories before heading off to Lisbon Portugal on Thursday for a mates stag do, with everything they've got planned it sounds like it's going to be messy few days!

Sure beats the way I got down from ~207lbs to ~180lbs (94 kg to 83kg for those who use real units of measurement).. Stress has an interesting effect on the body! Lost the weight in the space of a month :/

Ouch. I do hope that you are handling the stress better now.

Today, I applied for another job. Hope I get it.

the stress reduced over time so I have been at 180lbs for a month now. Stress was reduced by the situation being finalised and sorted, as well as meeting a lovely woman who is able to see life from my perspective.

also, good luck!

Only thing I did today was work, but man do I need a vacation. Work is starting to get to me, and we are understaffed.

Then I dropped my Surface Pro 2 on the corner :(

Speaking of weight loss though. I'm almost down to the normal weight for a person my age and height simply due to running around so much at work. I need to buy new pants; nothing fits anymore.

Took some pictures since we finally had a nice day today. Everything you see here was build in the last 10 years. In 2006 this whole area was farmland.

Today I recovered from much of the stress of the last two weeks. Did celebrate my mother's birthday yesterday though. Celebrating my friend's birthday tomorrow.

I have the next week off, so it's a lot of hobbying for me. Projects ! I need to NOT fall into Factorio's addictive gameplay or I'll probably wake up monday a week from now and realised the only thing I've done was play the game... But my case project awaits !

Well, yesterday it happened. Started at about 18:00 and when I was looking how late it is, it was 00:30. 6,5 hours straight, I've never gamed this addictively in the last decade. Bad Phuncz, bad ! Get to work !

I totally understand where you're coming from. I've picked Factorio up about half a year ago I poured 100 hours in 2 weeks into that game.
Just a little more automation.

Can't blame you, it often happen to me when playing Terraria or Minecraft in multiplayer.

Worst We did was Terraria, started around 19:00 .... Realised how much we poured when we saw the sun rising XD. I tend to enable time display now, when the game allows it.

That's indeed the motivation, making it better every time, being more efficient (hmm sounds familiar), doing more with less effort... It's so addictive !

On the other hand, I've begun work on my case and I'll have some huge progress to show soon. So I'll have my mATX case done before Cerberus arrives, which means I can atleast get the mATX hardware soon and start using my second GPU before I plop it into the Cerberus. Now back to work with me and off the automation :D
