The most recent email from Louque (yesterday, to double-check hat and colour selection) made no mention of any sort of delay.
Besides, it's a Kickstarter for a physical product. Even if you start with a completely perfect final design ready to manufacture (which is effectively impossible unless you've completed your manufacturing run before starting the Kickstarter), there are still plenty of ways that can be delayed simply due to the way setting up a manufacturing run works. If your reaction to production delays is IT'S A SCAM I DEMAND MY MONEY BACK, I can only advise you to stay far, far away from any sort of crowdfunding to start with.

calm down. I've placed a pre-order of a case and tophat set, so maybe emailing people who have forked out the best part of $350 that there may be further delays would be a good idea. Not just post messages on Slack! I'm a backer too. Originally billed that the item will be post in April, then June, then July. Apparently its now August.

Plus I never said it was a scam, that's your assumption.

'I can only advise you to stay far, far away from any sort of crowdfunding to start with' - I can advise you to not make assumptions. Maybe I'm just tried of no comms, just because i'm not a Slack backer. I've been waiting since Feb, just be cause its a kickstarter should still be waiting until next Feb?

The issue is that these are very important infos that should be delivered to anyone on kickstarter and slack...not just to someone with an email

I've pre-ordered direct from their website. So i'm not 'just to someone with an email'. They have my email as a backer! The issue is that they should also update people who have pre-ordered directly. They can email me to confirm my choice of colour, so its possible to email updates of delivery dates. No point just announcing things like this on slack only. Just because someone is not kickstarter and slack backer, why should they have to go to 3rd party forums like this just to find out basic info on timescales, especially since direct pre-orders appeared more expensive than the kickstarter offer! Pay more from crappier updates? A simple short monthly bulletin to direct pre-order backers would go a long way. I'm not expecting updates every week, or chapter and verse, but it would sure be nice to know if there are any delays.

Anyway I hope its not true for August delivery date. Just want the case badly :D

Beyond "some guy on a forum said they heard" I have had two dates from Louqe: the original Kickstarter estimate of April 2018 (which being a Kickstarter, can be dismissed out of hand by default), and a date of July 2018 for pick & pack confirmed when production started in May, which so far has been held to (given pack request confirmations were just sent out). While something can be said for putting out regular "nothing has changed" messages to quell the overexcitable, putting less stock in rumour is also necessary.

i think that there have been a missunderstanding..

a random backer (that appen to be on slack too) emailed them about his order and got a replay which said that the case was delayed to august, THEN he (the backer not the louqe team) posted about the delay on slack.

i'm the first one to say that they should share these kind of informations with everyone

it looks like you just missed some announcements from the louqe team as there have been more delays

march/april--->late april--->early june-->late june--->early july--->late july---> august?

I been thinking, I know the Fractal S24 is the recommended AIO, but I would like to attempt and hardline loop.
After a bit of research I have come to the following idea for my build.
The max height for a top hat is 57mm, the innerspace dimensions of the motherboard area is 75mm.

Radiator: Koolance HX-CU720V Radiator
Dimensions (LxWxH): 277 x 120 x 30 mm
Fans: Noctua NF-F12 iPPC 3000
Dimensions: 120mm x 25mm
CPU Waterblock with Integrated Pump
: Swiftech APOGEE Drive II
Dimensions (LxWxH): 109 x 109 x 62 mm

that could work but the problem is that maximum cpu cooler height is 66mm and that CPU waterblock is 62mm and has the hoses straight out which means that you have 4mm clearence to route the houses. or can you angle the hose connections on the block?

The G1/4 connectors on the Drive II are lower than the max Z-height of the block, around 43-45mm. You could potentially get some low profile right angle rotary adapters, with either clamps or very low diameter compression fittings attached to the end of the rotaries.

I have an Apogee Drive II I used in my Ncase. It is 43mm to the fitting, the Swiftech 90 degree adapters I used are 28mm for a total of 71mm. So that would be too tall unless you can find lower profile 90 degree adapters.

Edit: @fleetfeather posted while I was writing, with the adapter he linked it should fit.

Ok two questions, if I were to use a Galax Katana 1070 with the dimensions: 267*124*18.74 mm.
And I inserted it into the I/O slot farthest from the spine, taking into account the width of the card.
How much distance would remain from where the card ends and the spine begins.

Second question, in the GPU COMPATIBILITY GHOST S1 pdf, it lists the
Storage/Case fan dimensions as, L*W*H: 121.5*132*27.5mm, is the 27.5 the max because that is where the GPU would sit?

Hypothetically speaking, if, we put the Katana in the aforementioned slot, what would be the new storage area dimensions?

Does anyone have any concrete information on whether the case has been pushed back to August or not? I'm on the mailing list praying someone drops out and I can nab their spot, aha (and if it is delayed until August it may increase the chance of that happening..).
