Okay so @||| noted my posts from my own tests... here's the summary:Does the Noctua NF-B9 redux-1600 PWM fan give better cooling performance over the stock Noctua L9i Fan?
The NFB9 Redux was beautiful but, it woudlnt fit in an S4 mini without causing problems (both temp and fan sound problems)...
- The A9x14 (stock NHL9i fan) performed amazing with the S4 mini side-panel ON and it was SUPER QUIET, almost ZERO air turbulence sound.
- The NFB9 Redux performed IDENTICAL to the A9x14 BUT... only with the S4 Mini side-panel OFF (sucks). But temps went up by 4-5C on the CPU instantly (in all idle and load tests) and it became SUPER LOUD once you put the S4 Mini side-panel ON....because the NF-B9 would be touching the side-panel with ZERO air gap and had tons of air turbulence.
