Got a late preorder in for an Asus TUF 3080 from overclockers, and picked up some low profile connectors from moddiy, hopefully it will cram all in nice and tight. If I have to remove some shroud, then I will.

tell me, will it fit with 15mm fans from the bottom? Or will the card fit only without fans?

Is it correct, that every 3090 / 3080 XC3 from EVGA does fit without the need of removing the I/O? So every card except the FTW3?

- 3090 XC3 Black Gaming
- 3090 XC3 Gaming
- 3090 XC3 Ultra Gaming
- 3080 XC3 Black Gaming
- 3080 XC3 Gaming

Is that correct?

According to EVGA , they're all 285x111mm and 2.2 slot. So yes. I imagine the 3090 in particular might not perform at 100% but will have to wait and see.

I’d be grateful if you could give me the link to the correct low profile connectors please! I’d like to order them as soon as possible so they’re here when I get the card too.

Can I get some insight on how the 3080 FE compares to the 3080 Xc3 Ultra in terms of fit? I got lucky and have a 3080 XC3 Ultra on the way for my Ncase 6.1. I would like to understand what type of fan setup I can do below the GPU and if I should be trying to swap for a FE. My current plan was to use 2 NF-A 12x25PVM, but according to some comments that looks not possible, as well as, a 15mm fan.

Why is the MSI Ventus RTX 3080 listed as not compatible? Shouldn't it fit if you remove the front I/O? This is the card I'm aiming to get when available. I would deshroud it as it seems to have a dual-slot heatsink but I think it should work even in stock form, no?

I guess my question is why does removing the front I/O only change the max length to 300mm instead of 322mm?

Based on measurements, the 15mm fans won't fit (just barely) but I can give it a try when I receive my card and post back.
I'm looking for an rtx 3080 that will fit with 15mm fans on the bottom, so it is very important for me to know exactly if the asus 3080 tuf gaming will fit with 15mm fans

Because you're only removing the ports. The bracket with the power button stays. Also the frame is narrower next to the bracket. All of this is evident when you have the case in hand.

evga rtx 3080 XC3 - will this card fit with two 15mm fans on the bottom?
Yes, easily. As stated in the first post, 15mm fans will fit with cards up to 2.5 slots (but you should want a gap if you're not removing the card's stock fans).
