build samples:
1,Arch DEaMon 120watts set with Default cables,Dcjack is 5.5*2.5 type:

2,typc A basic unit 400 watts set, with one 6+2 pin PCI-E connector,4+4pin CPU connector, and 2 sata connectors.input 8 pin(2 M3 screws)DC jack.the PCI-E cable is soldered on the Load switch PCB(On/Off synced. with basic unit) right behind the DC jack, and it ismuch safer than other pcie direct connected to VGA method, for the house-keeping supervisory ship on basic unit will monitor the input voltage,if trigger an OVP,it will shut down the PCIE power:

3,ArchDEaMON limited edition(No1) 400watts set ,Dell dedicated 8pin DC-jack with C14 BRK:

4,VX set for PCfi CAS,5.5*2.5 DCjack ,linear regulator in.so you can compare Gunique PSU with other band's PICO things.by constomized directly soldered cable,Gunique saved lot of precious and limited space on the basic unit, and offer you more and more components like capacitors ,mosfets etc. to increase performance(not by those big, cheap connectors).
and cause it is 12V-in type PSU,it generates little heat that it dont need any heatsink to cover.

5,Arch Deamon limited edition (No2)+ultimate version Modded brick ,dual pci-e 6+2pin VGA cable witn one changable, this set can run i7+1080ti or titan pascal:

Is there a version of this PSU that could handle ~750 watts if most of it was from pcie?
threadripper: 180w tdp
2x 1080ti: 250w tdp each
680 watts + motherboard/cooling solution/ram/storage

I belive it would require dual bricks if you dont want to spend money on EUROCOM 750W model.

Now at days I check on this forum to see if there a 500w ac to dc conveter that could be placed on a sfx braket to power the VX and bellow. I would appreciate if anyone could point out to any solution out there please let me know. Right now I have no PC. :(

Hello, i have a question. I'm interested in one of these ot power my new sff system, but i have some questions about what configuration my system would require. I will be running a r7 1700 paired with a r9 380 at first with a possible upgrade to a gtx 1080 later. Would a type A base unit with a 300w powerbrick be enough? Or would i need a type D base unit with a 400w (or maybe even higher?) power brick?
Thanks in advance.

I just recently received a logic supply MC600 and have a Dell 330w power brick. Doing some research is seems that the HDplex 400 is too big for my case and am hoping I may find my power answers here. I am running a Ryzen 3 1300x and a 1060gtx, what would you recommend for my setup?

Could see about getting your hands on an HDPlex 300W from someone as it is substantially smaller. If you can wait a month, I've got the Kmpkt Dynamo combo coming out which should also fit.

As this is the Gunique thread, I believe that Gury's direct plug can provide plenty of power to those specs while also saving space in your setup. I can vouch for this, as I have an older model of Gury's PSU and somewhat similar specs to yours. I have a GTX 1060 and i7 6700 running on a 300 watt power brick, and seeing as RYZEN processors have good power efficiency, I'm positive one of Gury's PSU's would definitely be able to handle your setup. If you want to reach Gury, he usually responds fastest on discord to provide you with more information. Hope this helps!

Edit: I also forgot to mention that cable management is a breeze with direct plug PSU, it doesn't have any bulky cables, and all of the components are above the 24 pin connector. The wires also extend from the PCB on top of the 24 pin.

This seems like the way to go, but I will have to sell my current Dell 330w brick and HDplex 400. I should have done a little more research before I went that route. I've got a full pc ready to rock and no way to power it :/

another solution to your problem is a HP 230W AC adapter, combined with an HDPLEX 160-200W PSU.

that PSU is small enough to fit.

I have a question: @guryhwa lists the PCB-height of the PSUs but can someone accurately measure the height from the motherboard surface?

I'd really appreciate it, thanks!
