Does "3 slot" mean there is 60.96mm of clearance width wise? That seems like a lot for this form factor.

The total clearance between Side panel and MB-Tray is 65mm. So 60mm for the heatsink+ pcb part of the GPU and 5mm for the gpu backplate and components.
