Ordered exactly this motherboard for a A4 build. Pairing a AIO cooled RyZen 7 7700X it with a MSI 4090 Ventus.Has anyone tried to build with a Strix B650E-I motherboard? Interested in AIO Compatibility
Didn't see any problems at first glance, just asked to be sure before ordering.. but I already ordered the parts and will find out when I start assembling. Going with 7700x too, but with 7900xtx. Are you sure 4090 Ventus will fit in a4?Ordered exactly this motherboard for a A4 build. Pairing a AIO cooled RyZen 7 7700X it with a MSI 4090 Ventus.
Why are you asking, you see any issues with that board?
Sure.. well that's a 99,9% "sure". Have seen a H2O build with a 4080 Ventus, and both Ventusses have same size.Didn't see any problems at first glance, just asked to be sure before ordering.. but I already ordered the parts and will find out when I start assembling. PowerColor, a reference card, for now. might change it later but was the one I could get my hands on with a decent priceSure.. well that's a 99,9% "sure". Have seen a H2O build with a 4080 Ventus, and both Ventusses have same size.
Which 7900XTX are you going to have?
Length | 280mm |
Height | 137mm |
Width | 41mm |
Yes, it's possible :is it possible to have both CPU and GPU be liquid cooled in a SFF like Dan A4 H2O? Finished my own one with a MSI 4090 Ventus and just can't imagine it.
I have modded mine for Phanteks 240 T30, which is 65 mm thick AIO. Mounted the fans below AIO frame and cooler above. Used ToolFoam cutout to raise toplid 3 cm and will cover frame by putting black painted alu sheet on the ToolFoam to keep the samme look and design as the rest of the cabinet. ToolFoam was laser cut, but not perfect shape. It is at hard foam used for toolboxes ( cutouts to place tools in).Hello everyone, has anyone try to make and use custom front panel for longer graphics cards?
I need ideas to preserve the original simple pin mecanism and gain space for an extra SSD also.
26mm extra space would be enough to be compatible with a lot of cards, I think.
I have that mobo and Phanteks 240 T30 AIO. See previous Post, I have router tubes over psu and have good clearance due to my mod. Led pump lid mounting is not optimal as the tubes have to be turned to go up so led pump lid does not sit 100% on top of pump head but is slightly tilted. Pump lid is only for led and reduces pump noise a bit, but not required for pump to work.Has anyone tried to build with a Strix B650E-I motherboard? Interested in AIO Compatibility
What length and type did you take for the 12VHPWR Cable?4090 FE fits just right into the case. Took me a little bit of wiggling but did not have any problems. Currently having the bottom opened and elevated while awaiting custom cables.
A compatibility query: do we think MSI's 4090 Suprim Liquid X will work in the A4-H20?
By all accounts the card (280 x 140 x 43 mm) and radiator's (274 x 121 x 55 mm) dimensions check out. But is there any concern over clearance of the AIO tubes exiting the top of the card as shown below?
