What's the length of the pcie cable? looking to see if I can use my existing 4.0 one or go with the 4.0 version of the case.
If am not wrong 170-175mm
Very excited to get my hands on this case!
What USB version is the front-panel Type C port? Newegg's description indicates USB 3.1, but would that be Gen 1 (5Gb/s) or Gen 2 (10Gb/s)?
It depends what your internal Key-A could provide.
Would a 12600k running at around 1500rpm produce under 75 deg in Cinebench or other stress tests? Your testing was a 3900x at 1700 something RPM, which is a bit louder than I'd like, but the 3900x would also run 15-20 deg hotter than the 12600k I would imagine.
The 12600k has 150W so it will be similar to the 3900X (140W). So with 1500rpm and Chinebench only you should be in this range 70-80°C. Without GPU load more close to 70°C with GPU load more to 80°C.
So glad to see Ali's review! I tried running my fans at 1300rpm in FormD T1 (three A12x15s, one pull and the other two in push/pull, on a single TX240) and it kept my 9700K (overclocked running at 200W, non-delided) at 95C (ambient 23C). Perhaps in Ali's setup too much cable and the PSU shroud impeded airflow somewhat.
But great case and I love the aesthetics!
I know the 9700k die is not soldered but you can't compare 200W of an old CPU with a new one. The CPUs does have different DIE sizes, thermal throttling bounderies s.o.
QUOTE Noctua: "This is just the tip of the iceberg though. The second key problem is that the amount of heat that a cooler can dissipate can vary greatly from CPU to CPU. For example, the same cooler may be able to dissipate 250W on CPU A but only 150W on CPU B. In particular, CPUs with smaller chips (DIEs) and smaller integrated heat-spreaders (IHS) are much more difficult to cool than larger ones that emit the same amount of heat. (

Furthermore your customloop could be better than the EKWB AIO. Your waterblock is better, your radiator is more slim but it is full copper. You have three 15mm fan that outperform 2x 25mm thick ones.
