Not at the moment I placed my order though... anyway I started my build without and add the psu later on.

Haha, yeah, I know, there was a time in the 90's when I MacGyver'd a Super Famicom back to life with only my teeth, some wire and sticky tape until I was back home to fix it properly.
Cable strippers are definitley the way forward, but for someone just wanting to solder three wires, shelling out for cable strippers isn't too cost effective (then again, neither is dental work lol).

a) for side mounting, any GPU with height 116mm or less.

b) for front mounting, any GPU with length 170mm or less. [ you'll need to mod your interior frame ]

For front mounting you can't use the hdplex 400 dc, right? Have to use the KMKPT dynamo combo?
correct.
Dynamo 360 is 120mm, while HDPLEX 400W AC-DC is 198mm.
120mm + 198mm = 318mm, which fits in SkyReach.
if you go 23mm or more over, then it won't.
HDPLEX DC-DC is way over.

You could front mount the AC-DC and put the DC-ATX where the AC-DC normally would go (bottom/next to the power inlet to the case) with some modding. Cable hell will ensue but that should be workable.
It has been open for preorder for a while. ETA shipping for preorders is 25th feb for US and 5th March for EU.
Anyone have any idea if the new zotac 1660 ti super compact, will fit in NFC skyreach with the 400ac-dc? looks like the height should be fine with a few mm to spare. Any ideas/thoughts if a low-profile pcie connector (as below) could sneek in between the gpu and 400 ac-dc (side mounted).

and if you want to fit a GPU in the front instead, along with a HDPLEX 400W AC-DC, you can get a modified SkyReach case from ebay.
Hi guys, I'm planning to build a new PC for a friend using the s4 mini and currently waiting for the HDPLEX 400w ac-dc dx-atx to arrive. I'm planning to fit the HDPLEX inside the s4 mini. My question is, what options do I have when it comes to the GPU selection? From what I understood from this thread, a gigabyte 1080 mini will fit. What other GPUs can I go for?
I believe the 1660ti should fit right in.
Once the PSU arrives I'll let you know if the zotac 2060 fits. I think it won't exactly fit but I think it should be quite simple to make it fit.
Does anyone know if a 2070 mini brickless build is possible in the s4m?

Should be possible with the Inno3D 2070 Twin X2, custom GPU cables and HDPlex 400 AC DC/DC Combo.
Maybe it's also possible with the Gigabyte 2070 Mini ITX, HDPlex 400 AC DC and Dynamo 360 (Both in the front). But you have to modify the HDPlex because it's 1mm to tall.
