The exposed riveted seam. I remember a while back, Boyd Coddington, I think, was involved in the restoration or creation of a car inspired by those lines. Was on TV show at the time. Yearrrrs ago now tho

First hint: This car comes with a 2.4L I4 engine in most examples. However, there is a rare variant with a much more fun 3.5L V6 under the hood!

2007-2012 Toyota Blade Master G

I think Boyd made a custom 1930s Delahaye, not so much a Bugatti 57SC.

Huge fan of Boyd Coddington's work, and Chip Foose's designs, especially they were/are based in SoCal.

You got it @jaynamics

One of my dream projects is to buy a Blade Master G and swap the panels/lights out for a base level Corolla/Auris since they're the same chassis. Sleeper spec XD

Given it's sharp lines, it's almost like they drew it in a Vector (W8) based CAD programme... ;)

With the thousands of hours I spent in Gran Turismo 2, it stood out to me pretty quick - first thought was a Lister Storm though XD
