This is not a rare car by all means and that is why I made the first pic cropped so.

If this is still too hard, just speak up. I noticed you guys could guess all the previous cars right so quick that I think there are many real car nuts here.

My sister liked the 504 so much that my brother-in-law bought a 505 Turbo Diesel, which provided years of faithful service as well.

I knew the ribbed tail light and the double chrome rubber bumpers will be decisive features.

Yes, the tail light definitely was a decisive feature. Insta knew it was a Mercedes, just had to remember the model.
I can relate to that. As a kid from the 80s, my dream car was my friend's dad BMW 750i V12 from the mid-late 80s.

900 Turbo to be exact as I think only the turbo version has that side vent.
This was one of 007's car as well. I read it a few times in the novels. James nicknamed it ''Silver Beast''. 2.0 L inline 4 engine with intercooled turbo...good enough to beat up the bad guys in those days.
Even though not extremely popular in the US I worked for a couple years next to a Saab shop and saw these daily.
