Increase volume from 9.8L to 10.5L to support MSI Suprim X 30XX?

  • Yes, worth the trade off to be more compatible with components

  • No, not worth it b/c it is not better than the ROG 30XX, which fits now at <10L

I assume the Aluminum Panel is better for transport in a backpack than the mesh side panels?

Additionally, you mention that the 120 mm AIO can outperform the 240 mm AIO. Are you referring to the Corsair 120 vs the Alphacool LT240? What side by side data are you drawing that conclusion from? The Youtube review used a 9900K @ 4.9 GHz, assuming unlimited power draw and using Blender AVX2. The temp chart on this post used 9900K @ 4.6 GHz, 240W power draw limit and unknown stress test app. I'm sure you can infer the relative ranking but I was wondering if you could provide more details on how the 240 AIOs were tested in your earlier post.

Mesh Panels are steel and 1mm thick, should be stronger than the aluminum panels.

That’s in reference to OT review where flipping the case on 120AIO performed better than the Ghost on 240 Kraken X52.

The LT240 is a Copper 240 radiator, afaik no 120 by 30mm thick radiator will outperform it.

The Koolance CU420V is both copper and 30FPI, this 120 radiator on DDC might outperform aluminum 240 radiators (usually 18FPI).

OT will make more videos on this subject.

It's awesome seeing the hype, I hope everything goes great and you can deliver the product as close to your vision as possible and without major hiccups due to Corona situation.

Quick double question:
- Do you plan a version where the side panel is completely symmetric?
- And a slightly wider version that would allow for more options? (70mm cpu coolers and 3 slot gpu, better cable management and/or disks with additional bracket between MB and GPU, etc)

- the mesh panels are symmetric now, what do you mean?
- 70mm CPU Cooler + 3 Slot GPU means 153mm wide, M1 is more space efficient and cooling efficient at that size.

Looks like we're all going to eagerly wait for a LT240 Sidearmd T1 review!

Long time lurker and reader of this site and was following the this case and project. I signed in and registered just for this. I also wanted to mention to @Wahaha360 that pre-orders should have started weeks prior when the design was more than ready. Since Optimum Tech's Review of the prototype, this really shot down the thought of getting this case anytime soon and now with the Coronavirus situation, I would think this may well be out of reach til mid-late 2020 in any stretch, which has me looking at other similar options (Louqe Ghost S1) as a backup.

Sorry if this has been answered already, but is there space for 2.5in drives? Or would you have to use a 120mm radiator to do that?

There’s space for 1 at the front. Watch the OT review, he shows the location.

For this I was suggesting an additional bracket that you can install HDDs in between MB and GPU.

On a 3 slot GPU config, you can have an additional space by installing the GPU on the no. 2 slot. Thereby freeing 1 slot in between MB and GPU.

Of course i'm refering to a 2 slot GPU.

I am not waiting :) I already have an LT120/240 sitting here in my ncase waiting for the T1 to go live :)

@Wahaha360 will this case fit 2 120mm aios if you get a little creative? Obviously 1 with a 15mm fan.

I have been lurking for a while and waiting on pre-orders for what seems like forever :)
Hopefully I can get in on the first batch but if not I am more than willing to wait (anything this good is worth waiting for).

@Wahaha360 just want to say congrats on the positive review and thank you for all the hard work and updates. It is really appreciated!
