Having a venerable M1 v6 and being surprised at what I could fit in there, I'm also waiting for the v2 to order!

What's the changes for v2?

By the way I'm absolutely craving for a rounded black version, I really hope it will be available in that color with this sleek and sweet front panel, it's the only thing for me to match my idea of a perfect case.

That's what I selected in the interest survey, but then it was never offered, so I never ordered the EVO. But the v2 might become interesting.

It would also be nice if the back plate of the case could be open sourced, since I am not satisfied with the current one. I probably would like to use a mini-itx positioned very low, and put the power cable inlet either above or under under the mini-itx io/shield, like on Asus AP201 or NR200P Max.

Is it possible to fit, on the ncase M2, a MSI 4090 Liquid with the radiator on the top of the case, with the GPU in horizontal position and an aircooler on the cpu? Asking that because my current setup is the 4090 liquid with an axp90-x47 on the a4h2o, but I would like to buy an M2

The reason he's tried to keep the width to around 160mm is to get the most out of the manufacturer's CNC machines. At that size he can get three front/back or top/bottom panels on the bed at a time, cutting down time and thus cost. Anything much wider and they can only do two at a time. A lot of the design decisions that might seem baffling are for reasons related to manufacturing and shipping efficiency, vs the end user's needs.

I guess that explains the bizarre cooler clearance...

Incidentally, a question for M2 owners: how sturdy is the case when fully assembled? The notion of the entire structure being held together by aluminium threads doesn't exactly inspire confidence, you see...
