News Enermax Revolution SFX PSU (550W, 650W)

Looks like these could be out before Silverstone's updated 650W SFX gets released. They have 80mm fans though.

Gold rated, fully modular flat cables, semi-fanless and apparently due on the 9th December.

They also have the +12V line rated to 648W (for 650W model) and an ATX bracket included. No word on warranty.

Meanwhile, the FSP Dagger is unreleased (at least in Europe), as is the Raijintek SFX psu. Still, competition is only a good thing.

Very true, although I hope there's a bigger focus on quiet and quality for SFX before people start refering to these as low quality, overpriced PSUs. With 80mm fans and an larger power rating than the SX600-G, this becomes a concern.

If Enermax's pricing is anything like Thermaltake I don't think we have to be worried about them flooding the market with these units and giving SFX a bad name :p

Good find Necere! I updated the article to reflect that new piece of information.
Lol... well, I just followed the link Aiboh posted and saw that followup post from the Silverstone rep. Can't take any credit for that.

Very interesting, so we have quite a few OEM's making SFX now: Andyson, CWT, Enhance, FSP, Great Wall, Seasonic, and Sirfa.

I see a future where SFX and SFX-L can replace ATX PSUs for the general public in the far future. I'm pretty sure the OEM market will be happy about this.

Also glad to see more players in the SFX PSU space! More products to win the hearts and minds of the bigger is better crowd. It took me until 2014 to fully embrace the world of smaller computing after 20 years of building. I don't see myself going back for personal use at least.

I emailed them about release date and price and never heard back.
