News In Win Intros Compact Series 700W SFX Power Supply (a rebranded Silverstone SX700-PT?)

In Win today introduced the Compact Series 700-Watt power-supply in the SFX form-factor. At 125 mm x 100 mm x 63 mm (W x D x H), this PSU is firmly sticks to the SFX specification, and not SFX-L. There's still enough juice on tap to power a compact build with a flagship graphics card, such as the RTX 2080 Ti, or TITAN V. The CS700W from In Win achieves its Wattage through a single +12V rail design, which boasts of 80 Plus Gold efficiency. The unit features Active PFC, and most common electrical protections, against over/under-voltage, overload, overheat, and short-circuit.

The CS700W is backed by a 5-year warranty, the company didn't reveal pricing.

Looks an awful lot like a rebadged Silverstone SX700-PT (although only certified as Gold), so probably they're preparing for launch soon.

eh, that'll depend on whether they're using the same OEM platform unit o_o (although the modular cable plugs seem to be of the same arrangement o_o)

If we are to believe techpowerup then there is a big difference: " two 4+4 pin EPS" where https://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=833 specifies "1 x 8 / 4-Pin EPS" although indeed the modular plugs look like the same, so that's weird.

Looking at https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-ryzen-threadripper-2-2990wx-2950x,5725-13.html https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/nvidia-geforce-rtx-2080-ti-founders-edition,5805-10.html a Threadripper 2950x and a 2080 Ti should be possible from this PSU.

Do note the Corsair SF750W pretty much obsoleted this PSU outright unless it can establish a really good price point once it becomes available in the West.
