Hey, @dondan, what sort of modding would be required to back-fit the AIO bracket onto a v2 case... just drilling some holes, or more involved surgery?

You need to drill four holes and you need to counter sunk them.

@dondan Quick question because I can't see this in the photos: How are you implementing the reinforcing metal backing for the kensington slot?

I added just the kensington key hole.

(Where) Can we procure the black 15mm thick 92mm fan (pictured under the mobo) separately of the Alpenfohn Black Ridge?

If I want to install 120mm AIO AND 2 x 15mm 2.5" HDD, I understand that the only possibility might be using an ITX graphic card and 120mm fan on one side and install the 2 x 2.5" 15mm HDD under the power supply. I do however wonder if that would leave enough space for the tubes from the liquid cooler to the CPU. Anyone ever tried that?

I think it will only fit with an 120mm AIO if you install one 2.5" drive at the front and the other under the power supply. At the front you can only install a sub 10mm drive.

I added just the kensington key hole.

I know that their documentation seems to be incomplete in saying whether the backing has to be made from stainless steel, but I'm pretty sure that being short of 1 mm on thickness is against their spec, and it might mean being able to wiggle the lock and potentially damage it, not sure if making it possible to tear it out or not.

Hello.
I put 9900K and 2080Ti FE in A4-SFX v3. The CPU Cooler uses the old Asetek 545LC. However, I think that this AIO adversely affects the exhaust heat of GPU.
Do you know an Air Cooler that exceeds Asetek 545LC?

I think you saw this:

1) Setup "Long Power Duration Limit" to a value bweteen 95 and 145W. This will give a huge thermal drop while only losing 2% gaming perf.
2) Play with undervolting via offset mode a good value to start is -0.05V.

Extra information: The TDP (Thermal design power) value on the CPU carton (9900k = 95W) is speciefied on the situation that the CPU will run like this:

but on modern motherboards the 9900k will run 5-4,7 Ghz on all Cores. This will result in a TDP of ~210W and together with the intel TIM (Thermo-Interface-Material) you need a big cooler or water cooling to handle this. Playing with "Long Power Duration Limit" will force the CPU to run in Intel specs and it will be much easier to cool the CPU.

I updated it to values for the 9900k together with Asetek 545LC. I think a TDP of 95-145W is fine.

Also, do you think an AR11 can fit? It measures at 47mm and maybe can slim down to 46mm if putting on a 14mm fan instead of the 15mm fan that it comes with.

Yes OverclockersUK will get it.

I don't think the AR11 will be much better as the L9i. On weekend there will be a tutorial how to add a fan durct to the L9a/L9a this will lower temps ~ 7°C. So if you like to outperform a L9i with fan duct you need a Black Ridge with VLP ram and a 120mm fan.

What's the max ram height for the Black Ridge + 120mm fan you mentioned?

I can see the preorder for the case, but not the bracket. Also, might you have the thickness clearance for a 120mm rad + fan if you use them in the V4 case?

Hi all,
Am thinking about trying to fit a Meanwell EPP-500 (https://www.meanwell.com/webapp/product/search.aspx?prod=EPP-500) with 12V power distribution board + 12V picoPSU to run a 2700X+1080Ti. Would like to use a 120mm AIO (currently thinking Corsair H60 with NF-A12x15 - 27mm radiator, 15mm fan) on the CPU.
I've made a mockup:

Case CAD files are out of date, they're for a v1 and I've just preordered a v4. @dondan, do you publish schematics or CAD files?
It looks like there'll be 2mm clearance around the Meanwell unit to add a shroud; the Meanwell will be mounted to the case bottom with some short standoffs.
Does this all look reasonable? Is the 120mm radiator able to be mounted where I've shown it? Are there going to be any issues with power button / front panel clearance?
Additionally, the Meanwell supply is only rated for 500W with 25CFM horizontal airflow passing through it; it's rated for 320W without active cooling. The CPU/GPU shouldn't consume more than ~400W at full load. Any ideas for cooling the Meanwell unit?
So many questions! Any help would be really appreciated.
