I noticed on the Overclockers UK page for the A4-SFX V4.1 that the description states "3M Riser cable completely in black, certified for PCI3 4.0". Does the riser cable now have a black PCB and black (I'm guessing wrapped in 3M™ Acetate Cloth Tape similar to how Gigabyte (GP-PCIE20) requested 3M wrap theirs) Twin Axial silver cables?

OR has Overclockers UK made a mistake?

Edit: I think it's a mistake (copy paste of V4 onto to V4.1 specs but replaced ADT with 3M but didn't remove the "completely in black" comment) because V4 was stated by caseking.de as having:
  • "New riser cable R33UF-TU 180 mm from ADT completely in black"

Question: Would this OCulink adapter with this OCulink to U.2 cable plugged in be able to fit on the rear M.2 slot in a sandwich case such as this? Looking at a potential solution that moves the M.2 away or opens up the possiblity of running a U.2 drive. Temps are the main reason behind this.

I fear that will be or an extremely tight fit or impossible.
To install my M.2 extender and maka a 180° bend in the cable was already a very tight fit and required me to put quite some pressure on the motherboard to mount it. Adding a connector on top of the PCB seems a bit to much without bending the PCB.

See this picture (hope it's clear enough) of my MSI Z270i Gaming Pro Carbon AC with rear mounted M.2 extender.

For those who want to maintain their option for an M.2 SSD, the USB 3.0 to USB 3.1 Gen 2 Key-A 20 pin adapter seems like a good option. (~25 EUR/USD)

!! Please be aware. See comment from @LoserCard below. Except for the Lian-Li (which seems to be no longer sold), you probably need a USB 3.0 header extension cord to get clearance from the PSU. E.g. (shortest I found so far - 12cm) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32794246283.html

More info from supplier: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33057674460.html (be aware, longer shipping times from CN)
Also sold by Lian-Li: http://www.lian-li.com/product/pw-inc1tr/
Also sold by Corsair: https://www.corsair.com/ca/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-|-Parts/PC-Components/Cooling/USB-3-1-Gen-2-Header-to-USB-3-0-19-pin-Adapter/p/CC-8900303

Bad news... Only the Lian-Li adapter would work because the USB header keyslot is facing towards the PSU on all of the adapters you linked. This means that the USB 3.1 header would be probably touching the PSU with no additional room to spare. The Lian-Li one has the keyhole on the opposite side so that would work.

Thanks for pointing that out. Post updated.

Hi, very sorry for this late response. Altough they use most of the CGI or "concept" photos on the web, the real ones and also the instructions looks like the original ones. Mind the difference between V1 (mate black) and V2 (shinny plated), wich is the one you want.

Some months ago I wrote to Alpenföhn asking for this issue. Their response was that they called all stored units back to fabrication and there should'nt be any defective units on the market, but they could'nt provide me 100% guarantee. Mine was V2 (nickel plated) and works perfect though. It looks like a genuine product, yes.

As far as I know, there's no such thing as V1 or V2. It's all the same name, just defective or post-defective batches.
Correct, there is no such a label on the package saying "V2, now without defects!" ?
Nonetheless you can distinguish between them by the plated: black mate at first, black nickel now

Hi guys, I am planning to get a find a motherboard and ram to pair with lp53, anyone knows which z390 or 370 board support high profile ram with lp53(I have a high profile ram and 8700k currently)? or should I just get a low profile ram instead?

Anyone here has risers for their case feet?
I bought ones for my V4 at a very reasonable price. You can choose between black, silver or gold (?).
You lift the case by ~5mm, ending with a total of ~11mm, allowing the bottom fans to perform better both on intake or exhaust mode.
Also, thanks to the O-ring the case stay "glued" to the table, one of the most heard complains about the stock feet. I'm very happy with them.
