Stalled Custom_MOD MINI

Im using a pretty old setup and dont wanna change when there is barely any noticeable performance increase for my needs and this is what i use today:

2500k
asus p8z77-i deluxe
16gb ram
750ti with accelero

Plan is to invest in the case, N9i, new 1050ti with silent fan which fits the case. And the goal is has the system as quiet as possible.

I notice that gigabyte made gtx 1080 mini itx gpu. So maybe I have to order 3.5 litre version some day. Beautiful case.

@bakakiba, fair enough. If your system meets your needs, why spend money. And the 2500 is a good processor. I don't think you'll have to much trouble with heat and noise. I myself am waiting for batch 7 to arrive. I'll post some details once I get it. I have a i5-6500 with a GTX 1060. Not the same as you, but it will give you some idea.

Also is the dell power adapter included when ordering with g-unique PSU or it must be purchased separately?

I've been using a clipboard with the motherboard screws under it since January until I get my case. It surprisingly does a good job. I use the paper holder to hold my hdd. If I had the G-Unique PSU with that, It would almost be an interesting open air setup. I could just hang in on the wall. lol!

I'm looking at the specs of the 3.5L case. Question -- if the case is 190mm long and supports a 7mm drive mounted at the front, how can GPU clearance be 185mm?

The clearance for the video card is without the hard drive. If you want to add a hard drive, i suggest the 4.0L version.

The 3.5L should still fit a 1080 Mini plus a 7mm drive though, right? I'm thinking it may even be possible to fit 2 SSDs taped together with very low-profile double sided tape. Because the 1080 Mini is 169mm + 14mm for SSDs = 183mm, which still leaves 2mm? I have 2 SSDs and I'm wondering if I can use this case...

@dananglabs, did you order your G-Unique by yourself or did you go through @sergiiua? I'm asking because I ordered the full kit from Sergiiua and I don't want to have the same problem as you considering that my pin layout is positioned at the same spot as you.

4.8L doesn't seem worth it to me just to accommodate the C7. The L9i is a better choice anyway.
