So how about it with the standard thickness? I mean the standard project, reduced only in width to accommodate low profile GPUs .the thickness (height) of the case depends on the pico PSU. If you make it thinner you can’t connect the HDPEX pico

Hi all ... noob here, I am trying to assemble parts for a rig with the SLM1 4L, which is the smallest case with a front USB-C (that doesn't use the noisy flex PSU). I am not a gamer (not yet) and I was thinking about either using a Zen2 APU or a Zen3 CPU+cheap GPU. But i Narrowed my parts to the following and I may take any input if you guys might have.
MoBo (These 3 are the only ones in the B550 that offer a usbc-3.2 header for front usb-c connection. I'd go X570, but that option seems to be missing):
- ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming-ITX/ax
- Asus ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING
- MSI MPG B550I GAMING EDGE WIFI
Cooler (any better alternatives out there?):
PSU (seems like the only option?):
- Noctua NH-L9a-AM4
- HDPLEX 200W DC-ATX
GPU:
- I haven't made up my mind yet for a cheap stable GPU if I go the Zen3 CPU route.
What do you all think? On another level, how long was the lead-out for the SLM1 4L case?
thx.yes Noctua and HDPLEX 200W are the best that can be. next week we will order a batch of these cases. will be ready in late May early June
Yes, I saw, I can’t find time to upgrade the SLM2 caseHave you seen the new HDPlex 250W GaN? Looking at the SLM2, two ought to fit... and then put in a 58003 with an ASRock Challenger 6600XT -- it's more power efficient than the 3060?
I can make such a modification for you. Just email me custommodsff@gmail.comHello, what are the chances of you making a new Slm2 revision? Specifically, I had ideas of trying to mod the SLM2 to have an adjustable front panel, allowing adjustment to fit longer GPUs. You don't even need to include the hardware, so much as make the front panel detachable and flat. I believe the skyreach4tiny uses a similar setup, but I love your cases and would love to see something like this.
I could always just go for an SLM3, but where's the fun in that? Already have my Hdplex 500w in hand.
Additionally, could GPU compatibility be improved to 3slots? The SLM3 can do 3 slots and is almost the same width, wondering what prevents that here.
