Hi all,

A while ago I was one of those who ordered a Catz C-1 early enough to receive one before amitoza went underground.

The case suited my requirements perfectly, as it is one of the only cases where CPU and GPU face the same direction. This is crucial to me as I wanted to mount it below my desk.

Specs:
Asrock Z77 ITX board
Intel i7 3770k
Cryorig C7
8gb DDR3 1600mhz
Nvidia GTX 750 1gb (replaced when possible)
400w HDPLEX
Sintech PCI-e express 16x Riser (30cm)

Here are the pictures of my build! Warning: Phone quality pictures :)

Cool! Though it's almost a shame to hide it under the table.. It looks like you're running Prime95 in that last pic? Could you post your temps? I'm still curious about that C7 in such a tight space.

Sure.

Well, I did a couple of things that might make the temps a bit hard to interpret.

I put a resistor cable on the C7 fan to prevent the fan from being too noisy at both idle and max. So at full load, the fan runs at 1800 rpm.

My stable temp at 4.2ghz after running P95 for at least 15 minutes is around 80c. CPU-Z reports 1.080v. The CPU is delidded, just did it today.

Also, I do agree that the case is very nice looking, but the goal was to hide as much away as possible :-)

Like you, I'm still running a 3770k, and have been wanting to de-lid for a while. Did you replace your TIM with Coollab Liquid Ultra?

Yes, that is what I did. I think I got it around 10c cooler.

Still wasn't enough for me to go to 4.3ghz from 4.2ghz. At least not without trying to mount a 120mm fan on the cryorig c7.
