the thickness (height) of the case depends on the pico PSU. If you make it thinner you can’t connect the HDPEX pico
So how about it with the standard thickness? I mean the standard project, reduced only in width to accommodate low profile GPUs .

Hi all ... noob here, I am trying to assemble parts for a rig with the SLM1 4L, which is the smallest case with a front USB-C (that doesn't use the noisy flex PSU). I am not a gamer (not yet) and I was thinking about either using a Zen2 APU or a Zen3 CPU+cheap GPU. But i Narrowed my parts to the following and I may take any input if you guys might have.

MoBo (These 3 are the only ones in the B550 that offer a usbc-3.2 header for front usb-c connection. I'd go X570, but that option seems to be missing):
  1. ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming-ITX/ax
  2. Asus ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING
  3. MSI MPG B550I GAMING EDGE WIFI

Cooler (any better alternatives out there?):
  1. Noctua NH-L9a-AM4
PSU (seems like the only option?):
  1. HDPLEX 200W DC-ATX

GPU:
  1. I haven't made up my mind yet for a cheap stable GPU if I go the Zen3 CPU route.

What do you all think? On another level, how long was the lead-out for the SLM1 4L case?

yes Noctua and HDPLEX 200W are the best that can be. next week we will order a batch of these cases. will be ready in late May early June

My new mini computer project with an ultra compact power supply from "Power_ON"

I can offer several options for power supplies. 19V variant for HDpleh peak and 12V variant with modified pico PSU
Also new perforation "Diamonds" and coloring in the style of Noctua. It's not a problem to make another perforation and paint it in other colors. You can order on my website.
  • Size : 200x193 x 67mm (2.58L)
  • Material : Aluminum (1.5mm)
  • MB: mini-ITX format (170x170mm)
  • Cooler: up to 48mm high
  • Additionally you can order:

Internal power supply with or without pico PSU. We offer two power supply options.
    1. Power_ON 19V
      Mains voltage range 190-260V
      Power 110-120W, peak 150-160W
      Voltage: 18.5V
      Efficiency 93%+
    2. Power_ON 12V
      Mains voltage range 190-260V
      Power 110-120W, peak 150-160W
      Voltage: 12V
      Efficiency 93%+

This is a resonant LLC converter, protection against overvoltage, overcurrent and short circuit (OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP).

Wow, very cool!
I love the formfactor you've come up with. unfortunately not enough for my custom build but I wish you success with it.

Have you seen the new HDPlex 250W GaN? Looking at the SLM2, two ought to fit... and then put in a 58003XD with an ASRock Challenger 6600XT -- it's more power efficient than the 3060?

Yes, I saw, I can’t find time to upgrade the SLM2 case

Some of our cases are compatible with the HDPlex 250W GaN AIO passive PSU

So, in the SLM2 case, you can install two HDPlex 250W GaN AIO PSUs and get 250W power for the video card and 250W for the CPU and everything else.

We also make a special version of the SLM1m HDPlex case that is also compatible with the HDPlex 250W GaN AIO

You can order cases by clicking the link in the profile header

Hello, what are the chances of you making a new Slm2 revision? Specifically, I had ideas of trying to mod the SLM2 to have an adjustable front panel, allowing adjustment to fit longer GPUs. You don't even need to include the hardware, so much as make the front panel detachable and flat. I believe the skyreach4tiny uses a similar setup, but I love your cases and would love to see something like this.

I could always just go for an SLM3, but where's the fun in that? Already have my Hdplex 500w in hand. :p

Additionally, could GPU compatibility be improved to 3slots? The SLM3 can do 3 slots and is almost the same width, wondering what prevents that here.
