1 What is the absolute best air cooler that is avaliable and fits socket 1151?
2 Will there be another 92mm aio that can be used in the dan?

Thank you in advance.

Most coolers that fit the A4-SFX perform within a few degrees of each other. From previous posts, and personal experience, the cooper heatsink from the LP53 kit, replacing the fan with a Thermalright TY-100, seem to be best in terms of cooling vs noise.

For Intel the Dynatron K129 + Noctua A9x14 looks also good. But i never saw a comparison between L9i and LP53 of it.

If AMD Ryzen is an option, i currently work on a comparison between

Noctua L9a
Dynatron A46G + Noctua A9x14
Dynatron A18 + Noctua A9

The K129 has a lot of potential. I actually have a K129, but haven't tried it yet. The main reason is that I've read (mostly from this forum), that the A9x14 simply does not have enough static pressure to push air through the copper fins to utilize it effectively.

Can you make a comparison between K129 and L9i with the A9x14? Maybe on your 9900k with "Long Power Duration Limit" = 95W.

I may be able to test with my delidded 8700K... it might take a couple of weeks to complete due to time constraints.

Do you think it's possible to mod this cooler ? (we need to bend a bit the heatpipe to be able to fit a a9x14 Under)

In regards to the Alpenföhn Black Ridge and finding VLP RAM to fit the 120x15mm Noctua fan. If you're in the UK there's quite a few decently priced sticks going on eBay for £99 each for 16GB ECC Un-registered DDR4. Just purchased a couple sticks myself to upgrade from 2x8GB and will probably buy the Black Ridge very soon.

Hi, mind I ask what motherboard and ram do you use for this build? a low profile or high profile RAM? I am downsizing my pc to dan a4, and I got a delided 8700k too. I am planning to get lp53 with nh-a9x14 fan. However I currently have a high profile RAM, don't know if I need to get a low profile ram for this build.
