Thank you my friend,so the rest of them are fine? The kit also boots at 8200,with lose timings and here is me trying to make them tighter bit by bit,and checking for memory errors if it passes i change the rest of them too...With those timings it seems stable so far. Will the higher frequency be more beneficial for the IGPU? If so i can try tuning this one instead. I will also try your recommendations for 6400You're running in 1:2 mode (memory controller's clock is half of the memory clock; uclk=mclk/2). That has a big penalty. If you're interested in running around 6200-6400 MT/s you should be aiming for 1:1 mode.
All CPUs should be able. to run 1:1 mode at 6000, and the majority should be able to do 6200 too. Not all CPUs can do 6400 or above in 1:1 mode. I would try 6200 in 1:1 mode and see how much SOC voltage you need to have it stable. If it is below 1.2v there is a chance that you could do 6400 below 1.3v (not recommended to use more than 1.3v SOC).
Regarding your timings, I'd expect you to be able to set tRTP to 12 and tWR to 48, and probably tRDRDscl to 4 and tWTR(S/L) to 4/16

I will try at the same frequency as yours then. I never touched voltages before tho so im not sure what to change....And yes, higher speeds means more bandwidth, and that's what the iGPU needs.
In 2:1 mode set FCLK to the same speed as the memory controller (uclk). If you don't find the frequency you need for the infinity fabric in the list, check the menu inside Advanced - AMD overclock - infinity fabric
I believe this will help (it is for DDR4 but still useful)I will try at the same frequency as yours then. I never touched voltages before tho so im not sure what to change....

I only have AIDA64 to measure latency and memory speeds:Thank you this is what i was using for DDR4 in the previews deskmini. What is your R/W bandwidth now with 7800? By the way the 2:1 penalty you were talking about before,is it a bandwidth penalty or latency?I did set the timings for 6400 and its working fine aside form the 1:2 clock that i have for now.
To tell you the truth i would prefer not to touch voltages, maybe i will try something like 1.25 and maybe close to 1.3 max...I don't feel comfortable going past 1.3I only have AIDA64 to measure latency and memory speeds:
The penalty going from 1:1 to 2:1 is a latency penalty, although I never tested if it also has a small bandwidth penalty too
I always check if my changes have performance improvements in non-synthetic benchmarks (running several game benchmarks)
I also did that, today but i never tried benchmarks.I think they are still beta?Since its not in the official site yetHello from Finland.. Just upgrade my bios from 4.03 to 4.08. And "performance" drop was massive...
Result
Hope that link works.
4.03 had that "performance mode" or something like that. That option had huge impact if i remember correctly. Currently running 180W PSU. If that mode was on with original 120W psu it had some problems, hard shutdown etc.I also did that, today but i never tried benchmarks.I think they are still beta?Since its not in the official site yet
4.08 is offical bios.I also did that, today but i never tried benchmarks.I think they are still beta?Since its not in the official site yet
4.08 is offical bios.
ASRock > DeskMini X600 SeriesIf it is its not in their page i just checked ....I downloaded it from here this morning.Btw from what i remember it still has the performance mode.
No there is a bug with the "US" BIOS support page, as it clearly appears on the French and German BIOS support page for example:If it is its not in their page i just checked ....I downloaded it from here this morning.Btw from what i remember it still has the performance mode.
I did go to the page like 10 min ago and it wasnt there, refreshed it now and it was.Anyway the option is still there did you check and it wasnt?

For me, it still doesn't appear on the "US" BIOS Support page at least for the moment... But the "4.08" is indeed an official Final BIOS I confirmI did go to the page like 10 min ago and it wasnt there, refreshed it now and it was.Anyway the option is still there did you check and it wasnt?
