Just SOC voltage. I wouldn't touch any of the other voltages if they're stable since you won't save much power nor gain performance by adjusting them.

I agree 6 fps is not much, but in some cases those extra fps is the difference between a smooth experience and something not as smooth, plus you're also helping with minimum fps that improves stutters.

By the way, increasing FCLK won't produce errors if it is just somewhat unstable, and it is pretty hard to detect and correct instsbilities in the infinity fabric. For this reason, lowering FCLK sometimes improves performance, so just check what works best for you
Yeah i might check FCLK again i did some testing before and i saw gains when i increased it,but i need to do more tests to be sure.

I've downloaded FF and it crashes (resets the PC) in my last attempt, but one of the older ones that i had saved worked. Now i need to find out what is bothering it and crashes....This is with IGPU at default clocks.I also tried AC and the difference is 1-2 fps...At least for this game.

Ps:I found it,it was not the timings but FCLK,i used 2133 instead of 2467 and no crashes....

SO I just noticed that the Bios 1.2.0.2a is vailable since early december. I got robbed (with scopolamine in Colombia) and currently on a trip so I dont have a mean to install it as I'm basically out of money until next month.

On another note, My CPU FAN 1 and CPU FAN 2 socket just stopped working. That all happened yesterday.

First it was only CPU FAN 1 that was not working then I plugged my fan into CPU FAN 2 and it was working first. I noticed it was very slow and went into the Advance BIOS option to change the speed to Full Speed and the CPU FAN 2 stopped working as well. It was first working on Silent mode but now its not working on any mode at all.

Tried all other mode including customized and still, both my CPU FAN socket seem dead.

I'm now running fan less with a home ventilator blowing onto my case and running temperature between 73c and 88c on browser task. (it's 32c all day everyday in Colombia where I live.)

Any ideas what I could try to fix this or simply get my fan running full speed on the heat sync (any other socket I could plug it in)?

I dont want to burn my CPU.

Thanks.

In the new firmware the fans do not work properly at least from bios....If there is no hardware issue, you can use a free program called FanControl, this is what im using for myself too.

Awesome.

What is the setting I should put the fan on in the Bios ?

As in, what is the setting you put your fan on in your BIOS ?

Thanks a lot for the help.

Doesn't matter cause the bios fan setting do not work,in the latest one (for me at least they dont) ,with the program i told you if its not hardware problem it should work in windows.

Im not sure what happened but I unplugged and replugged the fan a few time. Leaved it unplagged with a home ventilator blowing on the heat sync. Now I just replugged it, it was not working. I tried rebooting 3-4 times while playing with the BIOS settings and it would just not turn at all.

I decided to open the case while I was on windows to make sure there was enough air flow on the heatsync through the fan and just started back working again.

This computers super weird. First it was my M2 drive that wouldnt work. Now its the CPU Fan that work whenever it want.

It might be a sign of a hardware fail....if it happens again I would rma it, while you still can.

I'm in Colombia until May.

If the hardware start to fail, It'll go in the trash bin and I'll keep the hard drives, the memory and the CPU for something that actually work.

Hello everyone! I finally found the time to share my results. I delidded my AMD 8700G, and the temperature dropped by 18 degrees Celsius. It might be even more, but it's hard to verify due to the fan curve issues. I also replaced the power supply with a 210-watt one from an LG monitor, which I bought at a flea market for $5. I prefer the white one. I swapped out the connector—it fits, for example, from a video camera. You cut one side and solder it to a suitable connector. I secured it with heat shrink tubing. I'm happy with the results and consider further performance optimization a waste of time.

Holy score, impressive!!

Can you share a ZenTimings screenshot, please?

And otherwise something else, still impossible for you to obtain 8000MHz (or more) stable with the Fclock overclocked to 2400MHz+ like here?

Nice im also thinking to get a better PSU,what ram do you have and at what speed it was before? Can you share your timings/settings etc?And also what cooler are you using ?

Thank you! A question your memory settings what program you used to test stability and errors? With a straight copy they worked for me and Final fantasy online demo passed till the end.But when I test them with memtester they produce errors. The cooler did you needed to do any kind of modifications in order to work?By the way how are the temps with the cooler when lets say you play a "demanding game" ?

PS:Seems that i managed to fix it by changing some values that were 1 to 2.

You meant changing some timings from 1 to 2?
There are some timings that should always be 1, like tRDRDSC and tWRWRSC, otherwise you loose a lot of bandwidth. If that was the case, you should also be able to make it stable by adjusting other timings and/or voltages

Yeah actually after changing them to be stable the BW was about the same with my 6400 "tuned".Not sure what i should change to make it stable...and still maintain the higher BW and better latency..I also needed to change tRefi to a lower number or it would also error.

PS:This is my Timespy score with 6400MT,hopefully i can improve it more with 7800 when i manage to get it right.

This is the 7800MT that worked with everything and Ff demo just fine, except 3dmark....If you guys have any suggestion what else to change to improve it please let me know :)

The error below its not from the oc,the program itself got corrupted.I leave it here in case its useful to someone else...
